I have been with Fido for several years now and recently my cell phone died. I tried to get a new phone at a T booth store and change my internet and home phone all at the same time to Rogers. The home phone and internet was fine but when the service guy tried to sign me up with the cell phone Rogers wouldn’t take me unless I paid a deposit which I refused. I then came home and on the internet I contacted Fido and had them change my phone. This was at ent beginning of Feb. 2013. I ordered a cell phone and when it arived it was not what I expected so had them exchange it for an LG android. When I rec’d the android it was missing a battery charger and SIM card. So I called. Almost a week later I was called to the office to pick up a package, it was the SIM card, no charger. While I was on the phone complaining that I only rec’d the SIM card, I rec’d another call from the office telling me another courier had delivered a second package (how inefficient is that!!). Assuming it was the charger I told the operator on the phone what I thought of FIDO and went back to p/u the second package. Low and behold it was another LG ancdroid phone with NO SIM CARD and no battery charger. I now have the origingal phone that the courier would not accept, I have to find a UPS store, and 2 LG Androids, one SIM card and still no charger. I have e-mailed three times now and have yet to get a response. Telephoning is useless. What do I have to do? I would like to cancel because I have been without a cell phone now for about a month but I don’t want to get hit with a cancellation charge.
Hi my name is Rajnikant Patel .My acc# 4-9794-5014 . I have cancelled my Fido account and I was told at one of the Fido booths that it was okay to be cancelled. I switched to Rogers now and I’m wondering why I had to pay $100 cancelation fee for each of my phones? Can I please have the contact information for the head office?
