About Ekart Logistics
Ekart is an Indian logistics and supply chain company operating since the year 2009. Headquartered at Bengaluru, Ekart is owned and operated by ecommerce giant Flipkart. The courier service provider currently delivers goods to more than 3,800 pin codes across the country. Unlike other ecommerce marketplaces where sellers can ship orders through private couriers, on Flipkart most orders are fulfilled by Ekart. The sellers receive low-cost shipping options and tools on dashboard to dispatch orders. This enables sellers to focus on the product lineup and quality, while shipping will be entirely taken care by Ekart.

Not just order fulfillment, Ekart also handles post-delivery and related issues. To manage the festive season and Big Billion Days event, the company partnered with 50,000 kiranas. More than 200 million customers shop on the platform. The orders are fulfilled by the Ekart workforce that consists of over 20,000 delivery executives. The tech-dominated supply chain manages storage, sorting and packaging through fulfilment centres and delivery hubs across the country. As of 2020, the total warehousing space totals over 18 million sq ft. Even sellers from Tier-II and Tier-III benefit out of the supply chain.

Currently, Ekart offers cash on delivery, same-day guarantee (available in 13 cities) and in-a-day guarantee. Not just pick-up and delivery from vendor facility, Ekart also handles the return process. New sellers can opt for Smart Fulfilment, a program in which you get help from Flipkart to manage your warehouse, maintain inventory and deliver through Ekart. Those part of the program receive an F-Assured badge, which further increases sale, enjoy faster delivery of products and receive lesser returns. The Smart Fulfilment requires that sellers operate on Sundays and mark orders Ready To Dispatch (RTD) according to time slots allocated.

Sellers are provided with a powerful dashboard to manage inventory, set RTD and track the status. There will be a Manifest that will have to be downloaded, showing all the products and date by when it should be shipped. Besides active orders, the dashboard will also show the number of returns, cancellations and status of refund or replacement. Businesses who do not have a warehouse or space of their own, can opt for Smart Fulfillment. The fulfillment center will stock all the items at the state-of-art facility. Through this, sellers can focus on sales and manufacturing while Flipkart will fully take care of the processing, packaging and shipping. Products undergo several quality checks and are shipped through quality packaging materials. If you are a customer and want to simply track your shipment, you can do same on the website here. You can connect with the support for any query or complaint on shipping status, damages or others.
