Ecobee is a manufacturer and supplier of smart thermostats that are sleek and wi-fi enabled. Designed for both residential and commercial applications, Ecobee products are easy to install and comes loaded with features. Founded by Stuart Lombard in 2007, the company’s Ecobee3 has wireless remote sensors that automatically measures temperature in a room and adjusts accordingly. Why wonโt anyone respond to my emails or send me a return shipping label?
I have been trying to return my unopened ecobee 4 (ticket (# 1091050) but I cannot get a response to my emails.
I am extremely disappointed after I returned by thermostats 2 months ago and have not received the refund back yet even after repeated emails to the support staff. I am going to write to better business bureau and report this company.

I’ve decided to go and buy the Nest Thermostat to replace your faulty, none working thermostat. Due to your customer service and defective products, it’s a good idea and time to move on.
To provide service to me you’ve asked me to go beyond any reasonable exhaustion. I’ve spent money already on an expert to get my air working, I’ve provided the issues and I’ve been asked to do work that I don’t know how to and I’ve been asked to bring the expert back to pay more money to get my defected ecobee replaced. In addition to that I’ve been asked to go and purchase another ecobee get it installed which will require another installation for me to pay, which is ridiculous, so if I have to pay for something else to get installed it will not be your ecobee it will be another product in this case it will be a Nest. Maybe, I can get better customer service from them.
I regret to have purchased your product and wished that I would have read about your customer service prior to investing in a product line that this company feels that one of their products can’t be faulty it’s always either the customer, professional or the AC that it’s at fault and you can’t do business with a company that thinks that way.
I will ensure that my reviews and communications with others will be clear about my experience, so that they don’t encounter the same issues and service that I did.
