I just came from the Dollar Tree New Hope Commons in Durham. Store filthy. Staff needs in-service on customer service. Too busy with coworkers and not checking customers out. Horrible store
Have you ever thought of building a store in Newburgh, Indiana. I know it is close to Evansville, Indiana stores, but some people don’t drive and this is a booming location. Thanks.
My reason for writing you is to inform you of an incident that occurred in one of your stores, in which I call (My home Dollar Tree). (store #1688) Philadelphia Mills, Northeast Philadelphia. On March 19th at 9:59 am , I went to your location to return 18 Items,(I had an event at my church and I over purchased). Now I am very familiar with Dollar Tree Store Policies, because I have shopped in that store for more than seventeen years. upon entering the store I reached out to the Manager on site (Lauren Jennings) I told her that I wanted to exchange the items. she told me to go and get the items I wanted to exchange, and bring them to the cashier. When is got to the counter your associate (Donna Dodson) took my receipt, and said to me, and I quote, wow! you have a lot of items here, Are you sure you didn’t SHOPLIFT, them?
I have so many mixed emotions first, I was highly offended, I was embarrassed ,and I was Humiliated all at one time. I have never experienced anything like this in all of my years of shopping, However, we are currently living in a very different climate ,Where Prejudice is on an all time high. How dare she insinuate that because I am an African-American that I’m a Thief.
I’m not sure what type of customer service training your corporation has in place or if you have any at all.
The store I go to has turned into a DISASTER!! Last two months they have a new manager, and have been re-modeling. WHAT A TOTAL JOKE!!!!
Merchandise just stocked in such a hap-hazzardly manner it is IMPOSSIBLE to find what USED TO BE a fairly easy task.
If YOU people give a damn, message me back, and I’ll tell you the store I am speaking about..
If not – you can take your stuff and stick it where the sun does not shine!!
Donna I was sympathizing with you until you got into the racial issue. I don’t understand why any person of color and especially a minister has to use the race card. This is a major problem with this world anymore. People just can’t be people.
I went to Store #3910 today. I tried to get to a human in the Dollar Tree organization to voice my concerns. This may answer my concerns with my local store. The manger, Saundra, has been at this store for years. The other personnel in the store is a constant revolving door. My husband and I witnessed Saundra being rude to two employees during our short time at the cashiers today. Katherine, our cashier, was doing a great job! She needed one’s for our change. Saundra ignored her first request and then belittled her in front of us when she respond. A customer had lost a balloon in the parking lot. He returned because his string had broken. She ordered another employee to get him another balloon. Saundra is rude to employees.
Your customer care is the worst I have ever seen. No way to get a live operator, automated prompts not working properly or easy to follow. I’ve been on hold for over 1 1/2 hrs. and @ 35 min. a live person did answer and put me on hold and never answered again. I have a serious complaint about a store and seems the store as well as corp. officers do not care how customers feel.
I went into your store #4370 on 4/29/17. My survey code: 4947 0724 1303 0203 but I was cutoff before I could finish. I constantly have a problem with this store and the management. Tracey was the sales associate and she was the only cashier open. There must have been 7 or 8 people in line. Tracy called a manager Lorraine out to inspect a $50.00 bill received from a customer. Lorraine comes out and okays the $50, no smile, unfriendly and notices many people in line but does nothing to help. This store is convenient for me because it is in the Costco center but I refuse to go there again. Instead I will go to your store on Magnolia and Talbert in Fountain Valley. The Manager and the employees there are very professional and customer service oriented. You should do an undercover so you can see for yourself. Please call me at (714) 240-5315 if you need further information. Russ W. Bill
