Your online grocery delivery is absolutely shocking. My very polite email to Countdown was ignored. Please sort out your issues as you will loose customers. Hopefully Pac n Save will soon offer online delivery to homes.
I was a Countdown avid supporter until recently. Countdown Airport has such arrogant customer service and management. They lacked store floor signage and refused a simple exchange. Gave no sufficient explanation, lacked product knowledge and was straight up rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter. Horrible experience.
Had a nasty experience today at countdown Ashburton. Was confronted by a countdown employee backed with a security guard in the self checkout area. Apparently you aren’t allowed to put checked out bags of groceries in your trolley before you are finished. I’ve done this for years. I’m no thief and had no training from countdown as to selfcheckout rules. And a security guard. Really!!!!
They should either limit the number of order they can take for deliveries while ordering online or not promise at all. This is the 3rd time they have called to let me know that they won’t be delivering my bulk order. Honestly next time I wont even bother to order from these guys as paknsave is too cheaper for most of the stuff.
I have been a customer of Countdown Hastings for many years but always check my receipt due to faults I have found with pricing over the years. However my complaint is pricing. When you see an item with a large yellow sticker declaring the price as I did recently, I found the item was more expensive on my receipt.. I went back to recheck the pricing before I approached a staff member. When I brought this to her attention she then reprimanded me for not reading the small print. The item was apparently per kilo, although all I saw was the large priced yellow sticker. The staff member was rather snooty about this and treated me like an idiot. I object to a price being shoved in your face so that it looks like a good buy, then being told that it’s different because the small print says otherwise. You need to rethink your pricing strategy.
Went to countdown wanganui and bought some fresh produce that rung up 9 dollars dearer than it was on the shelf for. Instead of going to check the price the operator just removed it and told me “oh well prices are going up”… I tried to tell her the item was not $14 a kilo but $6 she didn’t bother going to check and I walked out and wen to another supermarket to get the same product for less than $6… Countdown your staff are rude. The girls at the self check out are never helpful and just stand around chatting instead of actually helping customers. Won’t be back. I’m not spending my money on bad service.
Had a nasty encounter with one of your checkout operators at your Kerikeri store today. She was very friendly to the customer in front of me and behind me. However she was very short with me and definitely had an attitude. I do not know why she was like this. I gave her no reason to be and was pleasant with her. Maybe it was to do with the colour of my skin.
Been using Countdown Northcote since moving to the area 3.5 years ago. Every staff member I have had contact with in that has been amazing. Today I placed an online order for pick up in 2 days time. Assigned the order to the wrong store(my age!) rang the 0800 No and the young lady, think her name was Mary, was fantastic and said she would redirect the order. Keep up the good
Not a good encounter with one of your staff members tonight! I was unaware that I couldnโt use a trolley I found in the car park at west city mall to use to do my shopping at another store with, however, instead of explaining this to me your staff member got physical and just grabbed the trolley and pulled it away with force off of me before shouting at me that this was the case! Feel like better customer service training is required for this customer
Itโs really such a dive to go into Countdown Putaruru. Stock and selection so limited. If you want Bread and Butter is usually there but limited in so many other products. We only have the one store here and the talk is that another supermarket is coming. Not sure yet as to who but when it does and hoping for a good opposition, then Iโll bet the local current one will buck up its ideas. People are tired of this store and itโs operating facilities. Just poor indeed. Wish there was a better input from headquarters.
Please can you consider bringing in the Green’s Premier Cake range. We have been missing the Caramel Mud cake (especially) since it was moved into this range.
Other mixes in this range look equally as delectable!
