Atlantis the Palm is a luxury hotel located on a man-made island in Dubai. The hotel boasts of 1539 rooms and suites. Situated on Palm Jumeirah Island, the 5 star hotel also has an underwater aquarium and a water park called the Aquaventure. At the Aquaventure waterpark you have water slides, river rides, shark safari, among other activities. There is also the Dolphin Bay where you can swim with dolphins and have a close encounter.
Managed by the Kerzner International Resorts, the award winning hotel opened in the year 2008.
