About Ariana Afghan Airlines
Ariana Afghan Airlines is the national carrier of Afghanistan, with its main hub located at Kabul International Airport. The oldest airline in the country, Ariana has its secondary hub at Kandahar International Airport. With a fleet of 5 aircraft, the airline connects to more than 11 destinations. Part of Pashtany Bank, the airline’s route network includes Herat, Kabul, Kandahar, Mazar-i-Sharif, Urumqi, Delhi, Kuwait City, Lahore, Moscow, Jeddah, Ankara, Istanbul, and Dubai. To search available flights, you can use the search tool on the homepage. By inputting the origin, destination, and date, fliers can plan their journey. When searching flights, you can provide details of passengers to reserve and pay later. During check-in the card holder must be present in person, with valid photo ID for verification. If you have a confirmed ticket, you can view and manage booking by name and booking reference number. Live status of flights can also be viewed online. The cancellation and refund fee varies according to the time of cancellation and destination. If cancelled within 24 hours you would be paying a higher fee.
As for baggage, most flights allow one carry on baggage not weighing more than 7kg. For checked baggage, on domestic flights Economy class fliers are allowed 20kg and Business class passengers can carry 30kg. For other locations, Economy class passengers can carry up to 30kg and Business class fliers can carry up to 40kg. The ticket will have details of baggage restrictions on that leg of journey. If you are a frequent flier, Ariana has its own loyalty program called Ariana Loyalty Club. Members can earn and redeem miles on all flights. The miles earned vary according to membership tier.
