Electrolux products found across the US include cooktops, wall ovens, ranges (induction, electric, gas, dual fuel), warm drawers, ventilation, microwaves, dishwashers, compactors, refrigerators (french door, side-by-side, all freezer etc), washers, dryers, pedestal drawers, water & air filters, and much more.
We purchased a front load washer and dryer. The washer works fine but the dryer has been nothing but trouble. It was purchased two years ago come Thanksgiving. It has been serviced five times. Everything has been replaced except the tub. It. Burns the belt up every time. Now they will replace the parts needed but not the labor. The labor will cost four or five hundred dollars maybe more. I am going to buy another dryer and it won’t be a Electrolux. I BOUGHT A LEMON AND THERE IS NOTHING ELSE I CAN DO. IT IS CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW DRYER THAN TO KEEP FIXING THIS LEMON.
Your Weston, WI, USA service representative was especially rancid this afternoon when I picked up my repaired vacuum cleaner. Al has a reputation akin to one who may have spent their entire elementary school recesses being beaten thoroughly on a routine basis as he is outwardly demeaning and arrogant. He is fat, unkempt, and his place of business is reminiscent of a sixties jalopy junk yard.
He accused my wife of having used the Electrolux to remove water…then shared his disdain that I should rise to her defense.
He and his partner will never see us again.
Thank you for an excellent product. We will seek assistance in the future elsewhere.
Hi,
I called the China service centre number as provided above. The lady hang up on me!
Is there a service centre in Shenzhen?
Our office bought 2 units of air conditioner for about 10-11 months. They have been called for 4 services due to leakage within this short period of time. Tonight, the unit in my boss office made rattling sound at several intervals.
I have asked for service contract but to no avail. It is very frustrating to call for service, staff are very unprofessional.
First I have to relate the situation to the operator who then will arrange service department to return my call. I will then have to tell the situation all over again and wait for service appointment. Then someone else would call me and again I have to relate the whole story! If, eventually, the technician shows up, I have to repeat the story again! There is apparently no system in the way they work.
The technician travels by bus, if I am lucky, I got the service within the day or have to wait for couple of days.
Each time I called for service, I always have to inform the receipt no., model no. blah blah which I would have expect to be in the system!
Buying is easy but to get service out of the locals is like taking ride to HELL!
Regards
Brenda Yeo-Christensen
I have submitted many complaints to your company in Egypt as well as your global online service agent. This is my seventh day where I do still suffer from the wrong and damaged delivery of my ordered products and still no single contact from a responsible person from your side.Appreciate your urgent support to reach a resolution to my suffering
I purchased an electrolux refrigerator last year, june of 2012. After a month i have noticed that the freezer wont cool that much. Yesterday, we have noticed that the door wont securely close so i have tried pressing the door but nothing happened. Now, it wont close. In fact an inch opening is clearly seen so i decided to turn off the fridge to avoid wastage of electricity. I am based in cebu city philippines.
I have an electrolux fridge DA68-00003C and is having problem with it.. The problem is the fridge doesn’t cool totally at the bottom while the top doesn’t froze even to freeze an ice but slightly cool. Somehow the top fridge creates some ice at d back wall but however if i place an ice mould full water doesn’t turn into ice.. So roughly how much its gonna cost me for a repair in Singapore?
Since we have enjoyed good success with our recent Electrolux appliance purchases ( Washer, and 2 small kitchen appliances.) I wanted to purchase the 1600watt Z931 Wet/Dry Vacuum . I live in Cebu, Philippines but was informed by the main distributor in Manila that this model doesn’t come with a reusable bag like the smaller 1200 watt Z803 model does?
They suggest we just use w/o a wet/dry bag because there is a exhaust filter. This doesn’t make sense and it appears they do not stock (Nor do they want to bothered with stocking) proper bag components for the Z931.
Can someone assist? I could purchase (downgrade) to the 1200 watt Z803 and get the proper hardware or bags (The Z803 comes with both one reusable wet/dry bag and, two disposable dry bags.) or purchase another brand all together. But, I prefer to the Electrolux larger more powerful unit. Why can’t it come with the same bags as the smaller unit?
The reputation of Electrolux is excellent however, I am not sure about your Philippines distributors concern regarding the pursuit of excellence and customer care. I told the the representative today who called me (Very responsive with call backs!) that they should not even sell an incomplete unit or they should discount it because is does not come with the proper parts or components.
Please review and advise.
Thank you,
Robert
On 24 December 2010 we did buy a Electrolux frontload washing machine 8 Kg, in Cebu – Philippines :
• model : AWF1282
• Type : R613526
• SN : 94873127
This machine was correctly installed and still in good condition.
On 26 December 2011 the washing machine gives as error that the door is not locked.
We asked the local service center for advice and the diagnose was the lock/sensor (is one piece ?) is broken and needs to be replaced.
On 06 January 2012 an engineer of the local Service Center (LAPU-LAPU ELECTRONICS, BRGY 52 # 14 Arellano Cor. Real St., San Fernando, Tacloban City, Philippines tel: 053 523 3615/ 053-325 6511) came along to repair but didn’t have the correct spare part with him.
After several calls another engineer came and told us to pay 1.143 pesos in advance for the new spare part. (Paid on request and towards Ms Gretchen)
After two months the engieer came with the spare part, but seems to be a second hand one, which we didn’t accept.
We are now 17 June 2012, almost a half year further and still not having a working washing machine.
As I am a Belgian and live most of the time in Europe, I selected Electrolux for its reputation worldwide.
I fully understand and accept that technical equipment can fail, but its not acceptable that it takes 6 months to get it repaired.
I submitted a complaint on May 26,2012 about the noise produced by the Window AC 1.5 Ton (model no. EAW18CRLAW) at Amritsar Electronics. The engineer visited my place and conveyed me that the blower blade/wheel of AC is out of order and needs to be replaced. He took away the damaged AC Blower Blade/wheel with him, but so far as of today no replacement of blower has been done. I had visited the service center premises 5 – 6 times but every time the concerned person replies he has not received the spare part from concerned authorities at zirakpur(chandigarh )/ jalandhar. I have made minimum 30 calls to amritsar electronics service center. I even called up the branch manager (punjab region) Mr.Saurabh Gandhi but so far of no use. I have been communicating with Mr. Rupinder Singh(contact number 91-9653879298) your company official at Jalandhar who is supposed to procure the spare part as conveyed to me by local authorized service center person, at least three times but again the problem remains as it is.
Please refer this to your Kelvinator Philippine manufacturer or give me their email address, The 7 cu. fridge has a possible design defect (or factory defect for my unit only?) which makes ice form beside freezer compartment hinges even on ‘1’ or low setting. The hinges crack, dislodging the door.
We got a warranty door replacement 3 weeks after purchase . To make ice we set for it and when the door won’t close we move to a lower setting melting the ice.
I purchased a 1.5ton a.c. The guarantee of compressor is 5 years. I contacted local service centre for repair; they visited my adress and said the compressor will be changed, but taking no action at all.
I am trying to escalate a complaint as I have written to the customer care in Malaysia on my cracked stove hob and the resolution is not to my satisfaction. At this point of time, it is going to be one month that my cracked stove hob is sitting in my kitchen due to my inability to accept the resolution given by the customer care. Please advise how I can escalate this matter higher to the management of the country or the headquarter of Electrolux? Your speedy reply is appreciated as customer service in Malaysia is really bad.
Hi, Sharon.
I agree that Electrolux customer service in Malaysia is terrible. Were you able to progress you case any further? In my case, the inner glass of the Electrolux built in oven door shattered suddenly for no good reason. Electrolux claims that it is due to customer usage, even though no one has actually seen the failure and checked what the root cause could be. In my search on the internet, I found that there were many other cases of the oven door of built in oven under the Electrolux umbrella shattering, even causing injuries in some cases. In countries like US and Australia, the oven door was replaced at no cost to the customer. This shows the double standards practiced by Electrolux.
I want to buy the hose of vacuum cleaner Xio Z1030C. Where can i get it in Singapore?

I purchased 1.5 tons A.C. MAY 2011. I am facing too many problems with it. I called so many times to your engineers but ac is not working properly then i request to your engineers to replace the ac. I complained to your service centre so many times but not no response.
Very poor customer service. Have been using Electrolux products since long, but recently too many complaints to share. Would I again go for Electrolux products? I doubt.
