I’ve made a purchase for $64.98 (Lucas trans oil, tool set, high mileage engine stabi8and a pack of light bulbs) for a 2002 Ford Mustang. I ended up returning the items. I had no need for the ones I purchased and I NEEDED THE MONEY BACK. When I went to return the items, the cashier seemed to have had a hard time processing the refund because he kept rescinding the items and printing out the little small receipts. I’m not sure what happened, but I have no refund and my bank says they have no information of a refund. Poor service.
I was a loyal customer until I bought a part in April that broke in January and I had to fix it to get home and then when I go to check on the warranty I was told there was nothing they could do for me, no store credit, no nothing, I was told I had to get the part that broke on me in 8 months so I told them I didn’t need another one and was told basically I was shit out of luck. I’m not getting nothing no credit no nothing and the thing is I was going to use the credit right there on more parts but if that’s how they treat their customers wont shop.
Autozone used to be my go to. Since a few years ago they completely cycled out the old staff (who were very knowledgeable) and hired a bunch of kids. My friend calls to have something ordered and is told it would be there the next day. It wasnโt. We had to drive an hour and a half and have the car out of service for another day. I call a few weeks later and was told they have a parts kit in stock and will be reserved under my name. It wasnโt in stock. They completely wasted my time and now my truck is out of commission until I get the parts available.. I will NOT be a support for this store anymore. The amount of frustration is better spent on ordering from a reputable online store than wasting my time fuel and money at another autozone store again.
Just curious, we have a 2010 Chrysler 300 Touring with 80,647 miles on it. Factory front brake pads and rotors gave out after 40,000 miles. We replaced the pads and rotors with Duralast 43086 rotors and Duralast MKD-1056 semi-metallic brake pads. My question; Is it normal to only get less than 10,000 miles out of this combination? I just installed the 4th set rotors and pads yesterday and I feel that they should last longer than 10,000 miles. We have had the car into our local dealership and had the frontend (steering, alignment and suspension) inspected at least a dozen times in the last 4 years, nothing was found that needing repairing and/or adjusting. The car runs, drives and handles as it did when we first bought it. Braking, that’s a different case—it sucks.
Sincerely, Mel Kilgore
When will you ban legal CCW carriers into your stores. Time for find another source for my auto parts/items.
Thanks for showing me your real views on citizens trying to protect themselves.
Good bye autozone.
