Guys don’t ever buy anything from Panasonic. Not only you get faulty product but also disgusting service over the phone .When my 2500$ TV broke after 4 months, they new exactly those TVs have issues ( as been mentioned by sales reps at the shops and repairers from other companies) and sent the part to be replaced . We have been warned not get part replaced ask replacement of new TV.We have contacted Panasonic on 132600 and the guy by name George been so rude ( same feedback from Harvey Norman sales consultant who talk to him ).George called and straight away said -I am not authorising .( very abrupt )When I asked to talk to supervisor he said she will call you.I had message following day to call back Simone( supervisor) who not only showed a little bit interest in why I wanted to talk to her but sounded so disinterested and disengaged , that could not even be bothered to get any details .
I have never seen such a shocking attitude and customer service . She said we have no obligation to replace..
Do not buy anything from Panasonic -save yourself a hassle and disappointment .
Does any one have problems with the DVD remotes not responding when pressed? I have 2 older Panasonic DVD and both have the same problem.
The main difficulty is when fast forwarding and trying to resume play.
*AVOID PANASONIC AT ALL COSTS*
Panasonic microwave NN-SF574SQPQ – Interior is rusting!! Even after the ‘cooling’ cycle has completed, the interior is always dripping wet. We leave the door open when not in use, in an effort to dry this thing out. As a result of this unintentional humidifier, our 18month old microwave now has big lumps of bubbling rust on the interior roof vent. Raised this issue with Panasonic customer care who advise “rust is not a product of a manufacturing issue thus Panasonic will ot be able to assist”
And so begins my own personal crusade! According to ACCC website: “A product or good has a major problem when: it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it”
Guess what Panasonic – had I known that huge bubbles of rust would appear all over the cavity of this microwave after only 18 months of use, I never would have even glanced in the direction of any Panasonic microwave!
I have had exactly the same experience. I have replaced an older Panasonic 32″ TV with a new one, which is inferior not only to the previous Panasonic model, but also to much cheaper models from other manufacturers – sound quality is one aspect, but the picture is the main issue – not sharp at all – very grainy. The Customer Support Centre has been unhelpful in assisting me to have the new TV (still under warranty) examined, warning me that if there is no manufacturing fault I will have to pay an unspecified amount for their technician to have assessed the TV. Really poor customer relations, from my perspective, a long-time, loyal and multiple Panasonic product purchaser.
Trying to get a refund on a microwave which went up in smoke. It was only a few weeks out of warranty when I returned it to Harvey Norman, who tried on my behalf to fix things with Panasonic, but to no avail. I had noticed a slight smokey smell a couple of times before, but this was suffocating, so I think I ass lucky to have been in the kitchen when it happened and able to unplug it. I’m sure Panasonic could and should do something to refund my money
Hi Guys,
I just recently bought a new Panasonic TV after getting it replaced by another.
(1) Replaced TV model….TH-55CS650A (originaly bought around March 2016)
(2) New TV model….TH-55ES500A (bought a few days ago)
Model number (1) had a much better quality sound (but intermittent sound failed reason for return)
Model number (2) has a very poor quality sound like its coming from a mobile phone speaker.
I also currently have an older 32 inch Panasonic TV which is about 10 years old and that models sound is much better than the Model number (2)
Can you please assist as something is not correct…my wife and I even tried various settings to no avail.
To be frank we are starting to question the quality of Panasonic TV’s now.
Best regards,
Mr & Mrs Uremovic
