About Goodyear India Limited
The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company was established in 1898 by Frank A. Seiberling with the money he had borrowed from his brother-in-law. Name after Charles Goodyear, the pioneer who discovered the process of vulcanisation, Goodyear is known for its tyres all over the world. Goodyear ventured into India almost 89 years ago and since then has been the epitome of quality of products and customer satisfaction. The company has two plants in India for the manufacturing of tyres, one in Ballabgarh and the other in Aurangabad. Goodyear India is the primary supplier of tyres to many of the Original Equipment Manufacturers. Tubeless radial tyres were introduced in the market by Goodyear India. Goodyear India also supplies tyres to the agricultural segments like the leading tractor companies in India.
