Now Broadband is a UK-based Internet Service Provider (ISP). Founded in 2012 as a spin-off of Sky UK Limited, the company quickly became a popular broadband choice among users because of its competitive pricing and flexible plans. Now Broadband uses the same network as BT (British Telecom), which means you can be sure of its reliability and speed.

One of the major benefits that Now Broadband users always appreciate is its value-for-money proposition. With a 12-month contract plan, you will also have the option to bundle your broadband with the company’s TV membership plans, thereby further enhancing the user experience. Plus, all of Now Broadband’s packages feature unlimited data usage, allowing you to never worry about FUP (Fair Usage Policy) ever again.

Currently, Now Broadband provides three different tiers for its internet services, the first of which is its budget “Brilliant” tier, which offers speeds up to 11 Mb/s. The other two include “Fab” and “Super” fibre plans that offer 36 Mb/s and 63 Mb/s stated speeds, respectively. Such robust options allow you to have the freedom to choose a plan that fits your needs and budget.

However, there is no denying that the company can definitely do better when it comes to its fibre speeds, as its higher-tier plans do not even break the 100 Mb/s barrier. While 63 Mb/s can be plenty fast for most users out there, it might not be able to satisfy you if your work involves downloading gigabytes and terabytes of data in a short span of time.

In addition to that, you get fewer incentives compared to rival broadband service providers. Thus, if you are looking to migrate to a better broadband service provider, then it makes sense to deactivate your Now Broadband account today.

What is the Now Broadband Cancellation Terms

Now Broadband allows its customers to cancel their service any time they want. However, cancellation charges, otherwise known as early termination fees, will be levied depending on whether the respective customer is under a “contract” or a “no-contract” plan.

If you are under a contract where the minimum term is 12 months and you want to cancel your broadband service before the end of the 12-month period, then you have to pay a certain amount as an early termination fee. The customer care department of Now Broadband will let you know the due amount once you register your cancellation request and your notice period begins.

However, if you are under a no-contract plan and have thereby paid a one-time fee when you signed up for the service, then the early termination charge will not be levied. Similarly, you also do not have to pay an early termination fee if you cancel your service after the lapse of your contract period, which is 12 months (maximum).

The early termination fee that you will have to pay will depend upon how much of your 12-month contract is left to complete, how much of your 12-month contract has already been billed for, and the broadband membership plan you are currently subscribed to. Additionally, your final early termination charge will be rounded up to the nearest 25p. To know more about Now Broadband’s early termination fees, visit the official website here.
