Hello Yahoo Canada,
I can no longer access my yahoo.ca email account. Access was suddenly terminated on Thursday Aug 24th 5:30am. When I tried to re – login, Yahoo Canada replies saying they do not recognize my email ID. I have had this email for over 20 years and much of my life is stored in files in this email account. I really need to regain access!! I am providing my alternative yahoo email account so that you can reply.
I have yahoo.com and yahoo.ca email addresses. In yahoo.ca the log out button appears when whole page is downloaded as compare to yahoo.com where it is available with initial downloading of the page as a part of the options. This feature in yahoo.ca is time consuming and annoying. Why it is so? Can it be changed to yahoo.com style. Thanks.
I have been trying to deal with yahoo about my account being frozen hnot they want to assign a technician and charge me $40.00. That is crazy. So much for great customer service.
Something was disabled on my yahoo.ca account…all my contacts are gone…cannot access numerous sites (example ca.mail.yahoo.com, ca.help.yahoo.com, mail.enewsmississauga/ca., myfllighthub.com All these (and more) DNS addresses cannot be found. What is going on???
I have left a telephone message for a call back – not yet received.
I can no longer access my yahoo email account. I have had this account for a very long time. Now I am being asked to use a phone number I no longer have for verification. RIDICULOUS!!! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER! Do you think I have hours to waste looking up how to write you and access my account? NEVER USING YOUR GARBAGE SITE AGAIN!!!
Dear Yahoo,
I’m not liking your new yahoo page. It was easier to follow stories going horizontally. Your articles and very flakey and I’m not motivated to go to the side bar to scroll through the pictures. Don’t mess with whats tried and true. Go back to the old format please.
Please scrap the “new” yahoo. I enjoyed the old yahoo, ie, thumbs up, thumbs down, being able to see your own comments and who replied to them.
I get so tired of haveing to uncheck if I want to stay signed in. Should be the other way around. I forgot one time before and had a hard time to correct the problem.
I need to de-activate the account key on the mobile app so that i can sign into my yahoo account. I have failed to get someone to help and it has been over 3 weeks. Whenever I try to sign into my account, a message pops up that yahoo has sent a verification key to my mobile app. I can’t access that verification key and i desparately need to sign into my account
Yahoo frequently asks me for a mobile phone number so I can be contacted in case of what Yahoo perceives as an emergency such as noticing my e-mail account being used in another country. When Yahoo noticed this situation while I was in Japan and Vietnam last year, they temporarily locked my out of my account which caused me significant inconvenience. This response had never occurred during any of my prior trips in other countries. Please be advised that I do not own a mobile phone. Therefore, in the future, please do not interfere with my e-mail access if you notice it originating from outside Canada. Thank you.-Dave
Since last Thursday, 17 Mar 2015, I have been trying by all means possible to contact someone – anyone – in what Yahoo laughingly calls ‘customer care’. Trying to solve my difficulty through your abysmal online ‘prompts’ results in a continuous never-ending loop – with eventual ‘lockout’ due to too many attempts at completing the process.
Calling the Yahoo Canada HQ in Toronto does not even allow me to contact an operator! It says the ‘person is not available’! And asks for a voice message which I duly leave with a request that someone contact me. NO RESPONSE!
All I am trying to do is update my Yahoo password – which to my knowledge I had not changed – so that I can access my Yahoo Group accounts.
I have not been able to access my Yahoo Home Page for more than 24 hours. I have found many other people ca not access theirs as well. When do you expect the problem to be fixed? Why don’t you have a notice come up (when we try to access) to say there is a problem and that you are working on it instead of us all wondering what’s going on?
Firstly let me say that I use Yahoo Canada as my home page. I’m still not happy with the new format and find it much more time consuming to find and read the articles I like. What bothers me more however is the lack of information in many articles. (i.e. Pictures of the top 10 band earnings but no names with the pictures…like..who in hell are they) Many of your article writers don’t seem to know what they are writing about and have numerous errors, mis-spelling, and plain lack of information about the subject.
Whomever is your editor for the different areas should start checking the articles PRIOR TO POSTING!. You are losing your customer base faster than you think.
Merci pour le nouveau Yahoo courriel très sécuritaire avec une jolie interface de navigation.
