The metro lines consist of Line 1 (Hankou North – Dongwu Boulevard), Line 2 (Jinyintan – Optics Valley Square), Line 3 (Hongtu Boulevard – Zhuanyang Boulevard) and Line 4 (Huangjinkou – Wuhan Railway Station). The future lines as part of expansion include 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Single fare tickets and passes can be purchased at the station counters or through vending machines.
