I had trying making an appointment 2 months in advance for my travel. The earliest appointment available was 3 weeks prior to my travel which included the eid holiday. The call centre could not help on any of my queries and simple said “follow process”. The online form also does work properly! I do not understand why they provide a service if they cannot actually help!

Why does the german national visa for students rule of submitting directly to VFS not apply to all its centres and only for students in Delhi. This is absolutely unfair and illogical. If there is a rule it should be equal and apply to the whole country.
Kindly address this issue as a large number of students are stuck due to non availability of appointment slots at the german consulates.

Hi, I applied for a 2 year visitors visa in China on May 21st 2019 and still haven’t heard anything. I paid a priority service fee and asked for SMS updates but Nothing. This is an urgent matter as I need my passport returned as soon as possible, which is why I paid the extra fee. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have contacted UK visa and immigration and they have said my application has been completed. Where is my passport now? Please contact asap. I am very disappointed with the service offered.
Attempting to use the services of VFS has got to be one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had. The website crashes and there is no service back up or help. I have now tried about 30 times to sign onto the website without success. Utterly useless!!!
My experience with VFS services at Prestige Atrium,Bengaluru:
There is no information on the website as to how to take an appointment for a Lebanon visa.
No information regarding the amount required to be reflected in the bank statement to be produced while submitting documents.
NOT ONE PERSON WHO ANSWERS THE HELPLINE NUMBER TO ANSWER THESE QUERIES BEFORE SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS.
When I arrived at the VFS office, the person at counter no. 2 who went through my documents told me to get a photocopy of all the documents as two sets are required to be submitted, which again, was not mentioned on the website.
The VFS photocopying service had run out of cartridge so had to step outside to get it done.
By the time I resubmitted the documents, the person at counter no.2 who went through my documents the first time had disappeared from the counter. Someone else was sitting in his place and when I approached him, he said the specific person will arrive and then I may submit my documents.
Another person takes a seat at counter 3, who accepts my documents but decides to chat with the lady sitting in the neighbouring counter for over 20 minutes and then finally begins work on my documents.
I ask if having only one page in my passport will be an issue for stamping by the embassy and the person at counter 3 says he is not sure, while the person at counter 2 who has magically reappeared again, says he will check with his manager and get back to me.
After over 20 minutes he comes back out to tell me that they have written an email and they are waiting to hear from the embassy. So the person at counter 3 hands over my documents and blatantly says he canโt help me. (This is 20 days before my scheduled trip) while the person in counter 2 asks me to wait for ten minutes while the embassy responds to their email.( a very thoughtful and helpful gesture)
Afterward the person from counter 3 disappears and person from counter 2 calls me back to resubmit my documents. After I finally do, he gives me an incomplete fee slip, without the total sum mentioned. By then I had stepped out to the atm and had withdrawn a sum.
I approached the payment desk and they asked me to go back and ask the person at the counter handling my documents to fill in the total sum. Both the persons from counter 2 and 3 had stepped away and another person had taken their seat who was busy talking to the lady at the neighbouring counter when I asked him to fill in the payment slip.
He waited until the person from counter 2 came back and then tallied it and gave me the paper. I had run short of money by then. There was no mention on the website that the payment will be accepted only in cash.
Finally I managed to make the payment after running around. A piece of paper that showed the total I had paid (HANDWRITTEN) was given to me with a seal.
Not one person gave me an acknowledgement or told me to make the payment and come back for an acknowledgement.
I was late to work so I rushed back only to receive a call from the VFS office asking me to โCOME BACKโ to take my receipt which had the reference number!
IT IS INCONSIDERATE, INEFFICIENT AND BLASPHEMOUS TO PAY 1500? FOR VFS SERVICES THAT IS SO SHODDY AND UNRELIABLE. I SPENT 4 HOURS AT THE VFS CENTRE BECAUSE YOU DID NOT GIVE CORRECT INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE AS TO DOCUMENTATION AND YOUR EMPLOYEES KEEP WALKING AROUND AND NOT TAKING THEIR JOBS SERIOUSLY. THEY FORGOT TO GIVE ME A RECEIPT!!!
I contacted them afterward twice to ask them to email me the receipt as I could not go all the way just to pick up the receipt due to their inefficiency.
I paid 180? for SMS service and did not receive even ONE SMS since the time I submitted my documents. I have sent three emails to the customer care asking for a refund and had to constantly send emails to find out the status of my application as the online tracker did not give sufficient information. Attached is a screenshot of what the online tracker stated when the reference number was entered.
Just three months ago I had applied for a Schengen visa and had no trouble at all with receiving updates and the process was smooth.
I WILL ENSURE THAT THIS IS TAKEN UP IN COURT IF MY 180? IS NOT REFUNDED AND I WILL SEEK COMPENSATION FOR MENTALLY HARASSING ME BY NOT PROVIDING SUFFICIENT INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE AND EXPECTING ME TO COMPLETE TASKS NOT MENTIONED ON YOUR WEBSITE WHEN I ARRIVED AT YOUR OFFICE. I WILL ALSO BE SUING FOR NEGLIGENCE FOR NOT PROVIDING A RECEIPT AND FOR KEEPING ME WAITING THERE WHILE YOUR EMPLOYEES HAD CHATS WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES IN MY PRESENCE.
I WILL ALSO KEEP IN MIND HOW IT HAS TAKEN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE TEAM ONE WEEK TO REPLY TO MY DEMAND FOR A REFUND FOR A SERVICE YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED.
I applied for UK Visa on 28th February with fee paid for 3-5 days processing. I am trying to get information as today is the sixth day but no info. There is no VFS number to call and there is no customer service. This is really serious as the fee is charged for urgent but actually seems otherwise. Very bad service by VFS

My name is Pia Nolan, mother of Michael Andrew Nolan Tamariz. Michael’s passport with the French visa was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, September 26th. The passport never arrived (150 Sweet Hollow Rd, Manchester Center, VT 05255. UPS told us that they did not have any delivery for this address. Michael is supposed to go to France on Tuesday, October 2nd to start his job as a teacher’s assistant in a public school in Lille, France (his original flight was for Sep 24/2019.
If VFS’s delivery company (UPS?) delivered his passport somewhere else we need to find out where. According to VFS there is a possibility that the passport was sent to Boston. Where in Boston? We only have tomorrow to solve this issue. I kindly ask for your help with this unfortunate

I’d like to have the phone number of VFS Global in Vancouver as I can’t seem to find it on the internet. I’ve received word a decision has been made on my UK visa and need to know if VFS will forward my passport to me or if I have to go in person to the office.

I am surprised with the poor services provided with a big name VFS- Global. The services are poor and on top of it the respons / reply from the so called customer care ( where actually there is no care) is worst ever. Forget about the solution there is no reply either.
This is in reference to my multiple mails/ reminders and even calls at customer care , that I have not received any solution/ response from VFS.
