I would like to share the most wonderful experience I had on the morning of Saturday 5th. I entered the Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey branch, I had a few items which my wife had send me pictures of, in order for me to find a little easier. I met a young fellow by the name of Mannie, he truly was extra ordinary, filled with kindness. I showed him the various pics, not only did he tell me that the store had these items, he physically took me to each and every product, simply amazing with so much professional understanding of basic customer care & a total understanding of customer needs. He truly should be commended for his outstanding attitude.
This is a belated fan letter for the team at Trader Joe’s in Shoreline, WA.
Before moving to WA, I lived in So. Cal and had been a loyal TJ shopper for decades.
That said, I want to give a special shout out to the team of the Shoreline WA store for their amazing spirit and extraordinary service, particularly during the past two years of the Co-Vid pandemic. Protocols for having sanitized carts and greeters at the door were particularly welcome. Assuring that all staff and customers were masked was essential to assuring safety and much appreciated.
I love your store and the products contained within. Shopping there is an event for me. I was there a few days ago and got 6 bags of products. I was just as taken by the holiday bags as I was the merchandise. So I am therefore using them as my Christmas wrap. This is my recycling strategy. They are pretty and strong and great to ship with. Also, your employees are a pleasure to deal with. Above and beyond. Thank you.
I do not agree with your mask policy. For people who have severe asthma. We that cannot wear a mask. I have been going to this store almost daily being that i am a manager in the same plaza for the past 3 years. I was approached aggressively 2 separate times about my face shield. The first time was about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Not only did I not feel welcome but supper embarrassed. The reason being the only way I was able to enter the store was but having to push a cart with a lager red flag for 1 piece of chocolate that is at the check-out line. It was a busy Saturday and people were asking me why i was in line with nothing in my cart. The second time was yesterday. I thought I would give it another try. After being stopped agin saying the same thing and tell the lady I only wanted to get 1 water bottle and leave. I then asked to speak with a manager, and he sated I cannot stop unless I use that same cart for one thing. There was barley anyone in the store. Point being to make a customer feel this way due to a medical condition is ridiculous. WE are not under any mask mandate and it is only a recommendation by the cdc. I am very respectful to everyone and respect them and wear my face shield and do my social distancing. I am sorry to say I will not be shopping here any longer due to the too times and the way I was treated. This is not fair to people like me. I’m reaching and complaining because the cdc states they have not determined that face shields are a problem yet. I have been wearing my face shield for almost one year to every store and have never been treated like this and they are fine with it at other stores. I will be letting all my family and friends know how I was treated. This should really be addressed and change. I know other people that are starting to complain about the same thing does not look good for your company name. Thank you for taking the time to ready my concerns.

Blue Cheese Mustard in 7oz glass jar. We really like this mustard and purchased many jars as gifts for friends; all are in love with the mustard. We are now being told that this item is seasonal. We shop at the following stores #266, 429, 534, 532 and 424 in the San Francisco area. We are not sure which store told us it was a seasonal item therefore we are coming to you at headquarters to find out. Why seasonal?
Thank you.
Please train your cashiers not to put the grocery bags they just filled with your purchases on the floor before putting them in the cart for you to take to the car. The bottom of these grocery bags pick up all the germs on the floor and then end up on your countertop at home. This is a very unhygienic move on the part of Trader Joe. I was told that this is the way the cashiers get trained. For heaven sake, you are a food store where hygiene is supposed to be the first and upmost priority. Please take this to heart as I have noticed this practice at different of your outlets.
I love Trader Joes but your excessive plastic packaging for everything is really awful. I love shopping at Trader Joes but in recent years, I’ve been learning so much more about plastic pollution and the health of the world’s oceans. Today, I literally just walked out of Trader Joes and went to buy all of my produce somewhere else. Trader Joes should be a leader in this area instead of a dinosaur!
Thank you
