I’ve paid Terminix every 2 weeks and gotten lack luster service. I’ve tried canceling their services. They randomly send their service techs to my house. Salesman pitched a good pitch but service has been lackadaisical. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. You’re better off servicing your house yourself. I’ve encountered so many issues since moving to the South. After every treatment, I’ve had to call for follow up treatments due to poor service. You pay but don’t get what you pay for. Maybe the techs are saving for back-in use for profit. Please read and adhere to the reviews before you make your final purchases.
My experience with them is much more worse and still ongoing. I paid them thousands of dollars to clean the attic and for a termite control. Seller told me that I’ll be covered for 5 years. Just found out they put me on a 5 year contract and that I still owe them hundred of dollars. They been getting money from my bank through the routing number of my personal account. The damage is still there. What do I do.
I am totally irritated with the customer service at Terminix Gardena location. I have been trying to get service for bate stations every time they promise to come out they don’t show up keep calling they made another appointment and this what happened “Hello this is Francisco with terminix unfortunately management drop the ball on scheduling you for tomorrow. So I will have my manager reach out to you this up coming week to schedule it ..”. I not going to hold my breath.
Paid $4285 three months ago. Still waiting on treatment and/or return call. Disputed charge with credit card company and am due to get refund since Terminix didn’t bother to respond to them either
I am writing because of a total breakdown in our services. On Wed. 10/20 I called Terminix in a bit of a panic because our grandson, who lives in our basement, had killed a cave cricket down there. We are on the quarterly plan and I wanted to know when your people were due to come out again. Found out it was Fri. 10/22. I told the person I talked to when I called what our problem is and that these things completely freak me out. I am literally terrified of them. Even told him, somewhat jokingly, to be sure they send someone real skinny as entrance to crawl space is real small. Told him I was pretty sure the probably came from there. He laughed and ASSURED me that they’d be out and “take care of the problem”. Technician arrives on Fri. And says “We don’t do crawl spaces”. Told him I was assured they would and says “Nope, that’s wrong.” While he’s spraying upstairs I’m calling your ofc. here to be sure if that’s right because I was assured that it would be done. Then I see that he too is on the phone. Next he comes to us to ask where is the crawlspace. So he goes back downstairs and then wants a ladder. He then comes back up and says he had “changed his mind” but looked into crawlspace but was “too fat” to get into the opening but from the door he could see terming damage so he would send out an inspector about that. NOTHING has been done at this point about the cave crickets. So, it’s now been over two weeks since my initial call re: the cave crickets and nothing has been done for us except the usual quarterly spray which took about 10 minutes on 10/22. NOTHING, not another word, regarding the cave crickets or the mice! Long story, I know! We’ve been with Terminix for quite a long time, total, and always been very happy. No longer!
We have had Terminix for over 40 years and have had Great service. We had a issue with this month’s bill, July 2021, because when our tech came for our monthly service, my husband was not home and had the key to get into the back yard so I asked him if he could come back in about an hour. He usually leaves a copy of service in our door but this time he did not and we never saw him come back so we assumed he did not do the service. Today when I received the bill I had to inquire about the service because we assumed he did not come back. I called the 800 number and talk with a gentleman named Jonathan Kirk who worked out of Texas and he was so professional, very pleasant, and really took hold of the situation. He should be commended for the customer service he provided and he even called and followed up a couple hours later to see if everything turned out ok. Thank you Jonathan you did a terrific job.
I am totally irritated with this company It seems like they need customer service training because the reps have no clue what they’re doing and very dishonest including the management They try charging me extra for services that wasn’t done and wasn’t done properly. I ended my contract and pay the fee 4 months later they called me back saying I still owe this fee saying the bank canceled it Why didn’t they tell me that the day I paid my fee or a few days after I don’t know what terminix has become but this is very unprofessional.
Have been calling Terminix for 3 weeks – I have spoken to two reps that promise I will be called – never happened – it is disgraceful! I have a message on my house phone they will be here June 4 – of course, it wont happen. I have dealt with them for 10 yrs and never called on an emergency basis – awful, awful service – do not waste your money.
Appointments that were broken with no notice. Spent hours on the phone waiting to no avail. Customer service is a joke. Why are new customer calls answered immediately but if you have a problem that’s too bad.
Totally disgusted with your company. I had a billing question.. When I signed up, I never really caught that the price was going to be monthly. I thought it was more a quarterly thing or when the service was performed. Problem 1 was my agreement was nowhere on the website. Problem 2: I submitted a question about it and never heard anything. (Someone later claimed someone sent me an e-mail, but I never got it and it wasn’t in my junk mail). Problem 3: shortly thereafter, my credit card was stolen and the auto payments stopped. I got LOTS of calls then. Calls, e-mails, texts. I can tell where your priorities are. Problem 4: The person who responded initially was helpful & sent me my contract. Discovered I had been a dumbass and signed up for what you were charging, but explained that I had never really got it, & I’d pay the initial term, but I wanted to cancel after that. THAT resulted in a ridiculous argument that I could not cancel in advance; that I would have to call on the last day of my initial term to cancel. NOPE. Nothing in my contract states that I can only cancel on one day. And the reason for that, according to her, was you can’t schedule the appointment to retrieve your traps, which she stressed were your property, that far in advance.
I am beyond irritated with your company. Every year starting in January you start sending mail and calls now texts telling me my technician is on the way to my house for my appointment when I have NOT made an appointment! Our plan is up for renew every year April 1. Im not paying $300 ( your rates keep going up too) until it is time not 3 months early. exactly 6-7 days ago I got a text telling me technician. on way o my house. I called and complained big time. the person on the phone apologized and said making note no more calls or texts or showing up unannounced…. then ONE week lately the exact same thing. it is is EXTREMELY ANNOYING! I really just want to cancel the whole thing with y’all. Your company is TOTALLY disorganized. every year we go thru this . You do not listen. I plan to calll around and get quotes and probably cancel with y’all because you keep doing this even after I complain and complain year after year. You are wasting your own money with mail and drivers gas showing up at my house. Im not giving you $300 until it is time not 3 months early. Im also going to write a bad review on you. y’all get an F
