I ordered a side table and did get delivered quickly well one of the packages did, the second package was missing and two weeks later it is still missing!
i have attempted to email three times only to receive a response a week later saying that it was being looked into and can take between 2 and 5 days, it is now going on to 3 weeks and i have legs of a side table with no table top!
To say this is disappointing and slow on response is an understatement.
Order a bed and mattress on the same day and time. The bed arrives well beyond the expected delivery date. Nearly a month later the mattress is still sitting in the NSW warehouse! What an incompetent bunch they are. They say you do not deal with robots when contacting, however, I disagree.
Incompetent, with a level of Customer Service which is well below Zero. Our 8 dining chairs were delivered with no notification 2 weeks after they should have been AND THEN, thrown over our fence ! Not only were 2 of the chairs damaged, BUT THEY WERE YELLOW INSTEAD OF WHITE AS PER OUR ORDER.
Temple and Websters wonderful solution to this was for us to return these overpriced heap of chairs, AND THEN WAIT 4 MONTHS FOR REPLACEMENTS WHILE SITTING ON THE FLOOR TO EAT DINNER.
When it was suggested this was not an acceptable option, the friendly folks at Temple and Webster suggested we order a different chair so that we could be lucky enough to have a chair that was actually White.
But that’s not all, after being given the right royal runaround, Temple and Webster have insisted we package up the chairs from the first failed order, store in a safe place of course AND THEN STAY HOME FOR A 6 HOUR WINDOW WHILE THEY ARRANGE TO HAVE THEM PICKED UP ON A DATE TO BE CONFIRMED, PROBABLY SOMETIME IN AUGUST.. Lucky us !
So last Friday our replacement chairs arrived. We ordered 8 and received only 6. So it continues, pick up the phone to call Temple and Webster, and there is a recorded message saying they are having ” Technical Difficulties” with there telephone. Of course they are.
Love the look of the products – However since receiving my damaged bedhead, and being assured of a replacement at no further cost – I have been offered a 30% ‘refund’. My emails and photos are not being received by T&W server and I do not wish to have a refund, only the goods I paid for at full price including $100+ for delivery. Perhaps you need to make delivery drivers aware that it’s not just a cardboard box they deliver and the item could be handled with more care. I sincerely trust this will be resolved very soon.
I wanted to purchase 2 bar stools and the postage was quoted as $97 which was quite substantial. When I checked further I found that the postage for a single stool was only $34.55 which meant that it was cheaper to make 2 separate orders. This seems quite ridiculous but be aware that it may be a cheaper option.
Hello I just purchased 2 Temple & Webster Bella 65cm Cross Back Bar Stool white. First time I have ordered furniture online. I had them delivered to our son’s factory as we live in the country. Well my son delivered the stools in the cardboard boxes today 26/8/2019. We both travelled half way so I could collect them. When they were taken out of the cardboard boxes, one of the stools appeared to have missed a quality check as it was so rough on the Cross back and needs sanding and painting. Because of the great distance we travelled to collect our stools, we took them home, but we would like to know if we could have a can of paint to bring it up to the standard we would expect. I love the stools but the finish was not what I would call professional. I do love all the products that Temble and Webster are selling under their Hampton online range my order number was 2099229255. Now I am concerned this might happen again. I am particular and expect a product to be delivered in perfect order, painted properly, there was even a drip that dried on the other stool. Please forward this message to management. I did pay extra money if I had to return a product as I read online some stools were returned as broken ….so I wanted to be a step ahead, but there are a few questions about products being finished to a high standard. Sorry but the comment would not be made if there was a quality check. Thank you.
We have recently bought several items of furniture from Temple and Webster (T&W).
The furniture is fine – just what we wanted.
However when we came to try to recycle the packaging – it was not possible.
The type of polystyrene used by T & W is called ‘hard polystyrene’ and recycle depot will not accept it.
Nor is it possible to recycle other soft wrapping used by T & W
The cardboard is recyclable but not other pieces of packaging .
This outcome means we are unlikely to buy from T & W in future.
Perhaps we should visit their store in Richmond and return the packaging to them!

My husband and I are in the process of looking for 8 dining chairs –
unfortunately we purchased several items of furniture from “Freedom”
which have since learnt is complete rubbish. We are wondering due to this experience are we able to come to your factory or store to view some of your chairs as we are very wary of purchasing online and making another huge mistake.
We also like to make sure that the chairs are comfortable. Pamela Gorringe.
