About Staples Center
Staples Center is a multi-purpose arena located in Los Angeles, California. It has a seating capacity of up to 21,000 visitors and was first opened in the year 1999. Managed and operated by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, the venue is home to NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. Besides basketball, ice hockey and boxing, the venus hosts music concerts, award shows and special events. Staples Center has the distinction of hosting majority of the Grammy Award shows, more than 12 in fact. Annually, Staples Center hosts over 250 events and 4 million guests. The venue offers free Wi-Fi to all guests. Additionally, you have a high definition large video display and scoreboard, over 1,000 flat TVs and other state-of-the-art features.
Tickets for upcoming games and events can be purchased at the Box Office on Star Plaza, Chick Hearn Court. The Box Office is open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.
