Smart Araneta Coliseum is an indoor stadium locate in Quezon City, Philippines. It was opened in the year 1960. Good Day!
I was recently in the event for the Fanmeet of Lee Jong Suk. This is my first time to enter Araneta Big Dome for an event. I was not aware of the rules and regulations. I needed to accompany my cousin only for the event as she was from Davao. I have some chips with me in in a plastic bag.
I wanted to let you know that I salute the security officers doing their job as they check the belongings in protecting the event.
HOWEVER! I Disagree with how they called out my attention for the chips and water I have with me.
“And tigas ng Ulo eh! Bawal yan! another security said.
Again I was not aware, I asked if I can leave it outside or any drop area I can just leave
“Wala- kainin niyo po muna mam at ubusin dito sa labas” still was falling in line to get inside.
I support the security process and have totally no problem with it. The way that I was called out, as If I was really disobeying rules at all. I left my belongings outside, I purchased the ticket online and I did not find any reminder about foods on the ticket. I know my fault.
I am just totally embarrassed with the tone of voice and the way our security team would call out attention for issues like that. I felt not respected on my own right and also felt degraded in front of so many people. All I ask is also could you please improve your services especially customer service process. After all we are all human being that deserves respect not anyone could just shout to us as we are criminals.

PS. I found some food was allowed to be left via booth below that stairs and have taken picture of it. Please improve your service if no food allowed, maybe you can have an area foods cannot be taken inside and leave it with number so customers can take it back after the event.
This incident is degrading and I will never forget for a first time experience. I will totally not recommend your services and security team does not feel the way people feel being embarrassed in front of many. Please improve your professionalism.
