About San Siro Stadium
San Siro Stadium is a must visit place for football fans and tourists in Milan, Italy. It is one of the largest football stadiums in Europe, opened in the year 1926. It has undergone several renovation over the years. San Siro is home to the professional football club AC Milan and Italian football club Inter Milan. While it can seat up to 76,000 fans in the stadium, on matchdays it can extend up to 80,000. In the past it hosted several games of the 1934 FIFA World Cup and 1990 FIFA World Cup. It also hosted the finals of four European Cup. Well connected by public transport, San Siro is just three miles away from the city centre. It is also just minutes away from major tourist attractions.

Officially called Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, the leading sporting arena has an English language website where you can get information on the stadium’s policies, hospitality, events or others. Not just sporting events, San Siro also hosts concerts of local and international artists. You can track all the upcoming matches, concerts or special events on the website. There are a number of executive rooms available for corporate events. They are fitted with air conditioning, audio system, LCD monitor and a video projector. For a more luxurious setting, there are 30 Sky Boxes with premium amenities. You will enjoy dedicated catering with a private kitchen, along with indoor and outdoor seats with stunning views.

Reaching the stadium is easy with regular bus, tram and subway services. During matches there are shuttle services as well offered with departure from Piazzale Lotto (MM1). Parking options are available for those with their own automobile. On matchdays however due to the large number of fans, you might face difficulty in finding a spot. Parking passes can be purchased for guaranteeing a space on events. As for tickets, you can explore the options with AC Milan for current or upcoming football matches. Concerts and special event tickets can be purchased on major ticketing platforms. There is a seating chart published on the website showing the entrances along with the sections and numbered seats.

Football fans can take the experience up a notch by trying the stadium and museum tour. The guided tour will take you through the pitch, sideline, and players’ tunnel. Tickets can be purchased online. Children under 6 years age can enjoy the tour for free. As you exit, you will also find an official store where you can purchase the team merchandise. The Inter & Milan Store is open throughout the week and sells wide range of apparel and accessories. You can shop for jerseys, shorts, shoes, bags and much more. On matchdays the shop closes one hour after the end of the game.
