About PayMaya
PayMaya is a mobile payment solution designed for consumers and businesses in the Philippines. Formerly Smart eMoney, PayMaya was launched in the year 2007 and currently operates as a subsidiary of Voyager Innovations. Through PayMaya, users can take advantage of the virtual prepaid card to shop online and enjoy a host of other services. Money can be credited into the account at more than 40,000 partner outlets across the country. PayMaya has partnered with leading names such as 7-Eleven and Smart Padala Centers.
New users can download the app on Google Play store or Apple Store. After verification, you will get a virtual card. The same must be activated before use. It will be Visa or MasterCard based on the mobile operator. Users can unlock higher limits by upgrading the card. The upgraded card also allows to instantly transfer funds using the app and withdraw cash from ATMs. An application for upgrading card can be done by signing into account. To credit money into your account, you can visit any of the partner outlets. Currently, you can add money at The SM Store Business Center, Robinsons Supermarket, Smart Padala, 7-Eleven, Palawan Pawnshop, Shopwise, Wellcome, Super8, Lawson, Landers, Digipay, Bayad Center, ExpressPay and Global Access. You can also add money directly from your bank account through mobile and Internet.
To send money to a recipient, login to your PayMaya account and add mobile number of recipient. You will be asked to input the amount and confirm transaction. Users can send money to another PayMaya account, to a bank account, to Palawan Pawnshop and to Smart Padala. When visiting any of the outlets to receive money, the recipient will have to carry a valid ID. Note that a transaction fee will be charged to the sender. The details are available within the app.
PayMaya is more than a digital wallet. It also provides a physical card which can be used at establishments that accept credit or debit card. This will be a prepaid card and can be linked to the app. Through the PayMaya app, users can also pay utility bills, credit cards and taxes. New PayMaya Visa or MasterCard can be purchased directly on the website. For complaints or queries on payment, cancellation, refund, activation, or others, reach the PayMaya support.
