I’ve been trying to contact OfferUp for so long. I’m at a dead end. I got scammed by a buyer on there they never sent me payment. Brand new laptop I’m out of 3,420 dollars. It was all a scam and the guys account is still up after I reported him. Don’t trust OfferUp hard to get a hold of anyone to report anything. I’m now just feeling defeated I don’t know what to do from here on out.
Been trying to reach someone at offer up to help with a product that got broken during shipping. buyer got product and tried to file a claim; I also filed a claim to help the buyer. but no one will help either one of us! please assist. this is terrible service.

I had sold some items, shipped them and got paid BUT now I’m having trouble getting money deposited into my account. Whenever someone does the BUY NOW option, I keep getting a message from Offerup that says they “NEED ADDIOTIONAL INFORMATION” on my deposit account WITHOUT letting me know what it is that they need.
I’ve tried setting up other deposit accounts and keep getting the same message about additional information.
I see that customer service response is severely lacking.
I am fixing on remove the ship nationwide feature off my items as I had thought that the 13% fee was a bit high anyway. I had used Letgo before this and I thought it was a much better app sell service and finding Offerup disappointing.
I even have a bit of relation to a lot of them. I am cautiously writing this in fear of being permanently blocked from my account for voicing my opinion . Not being able to reach anybody or even to find a phone number to leave a message at is insult to injury. For some reason I’m unable to reply to a message from another customer only getting blocked with a message from offer up saying I have a previous message that is in violation of policy..no explanation of any kind. My problem with this is, I was only trying to reply “YES” to the question I was asked “Can you meet today?”. So what is so violating about this? Now I’m unable to ask or say anything to this or any other person without getting the same message that I’ve got a previous message that may be in violation of policy and to review it . But how ? What message? Review it where ? There is no flagged message section . There is no live helper. There seems to be no resolution for this automated error on their part . And now my postings are worthless since I cannot reply to anyone . Where do I get help from?
I’m trying to find someone that contacted my friend that posted on OfferUp for me for three things for the handy cap asking if he still had the three things I’d want to hear his or her story and make them a deal they can’t refuse only the person will know the three things are and I was asking 2000.00 for all three this was posted on June 2nd or first or even the third so if u can help me I want to help this person
I just try to buy iPhone 7 plus from ladies OfferUp user in OfferUp app. She request me to pay $130 and I did but she didn’t send me any device. I am continuously requesting her to send me tracking details but she doesn’t. Now I am down $130 and can’t get ahold of the dealer because she had deactivated her account and phone. What kind of business are you guys running?
I often leave the country for a week or two. When I am out of the country I will get the notifications and even messages from other people about something I am buying or selling but I cannot access my account at all. I understand this is probably a security thing but I am not a criminal. Is there an option to prove who I am and continue to have contact when I am overseas
I’m unable to log in to my account, it keeps givening me an error notice. I’ve tried everything uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app. I really like your app hope you can fix this problem for me.

I feel the same as the above, nothing seems to change, i have sold 2 watches in the last 2 weeks and nothing has happened, whats going on !!!!! support keeps sending me an email saying the money has been deposited in my account ( that was a year ago ) and that took forever, and now this. I like what your trying to do but someone is dropping the ball somewhere !!!!
I am still unable to log onto my account and feel I am being banned unfairly.
I created another account because I was unable to log onto my account after paying to have my listings promoted. Something happened on the server and it locked me out! ( was getting errors)
To resolve I tried creating another account hoping I could link them together through facebook but it only made the problem worse.
Then once I contacted support I was told to use the 2nd account and that it would be fine and reinstated.
Currently I am unable to log into my original account and unable to post any listing on the 2nd account.
I have tried everything to resolve and don’t seem to be getting much help from offerup support.
I Am attaching the convo from support where I was told to use the 2nd account which in turn caused you guys to ban my original account
This is very disappointing to see how such a misunderstanding/technical support issue would cause someone like myself to get banned from your site.

I have several points to mention:
-In 2017 I was scammed of $1,800.00 trying to buy a car for my son. The entire profile of the scammer was fraudulent. I reported it to you all, the police, FBI & appropriate state department. It is now 10/2018 & I have received no response from anyone for additional information, an apology (from OfferUp) or status report. I peruse the site regularly and see there are multiple posts concerning “vehicles for sale” with the same set up used by my scammer. Therefore I can only assume that no steps have been taken to address the overall situation. I even saw a few scammers with the truverified label. That is of no use. All of these adds have the same basic content “Beautiful Car, no issues, low price and an email with a request to communicate out of app and a reason they can’t access comments. This is a SCAM being done by a very large group of people across the country. To maintain the integrity of your company, a complaint or tip line for these issues to be reported is vital as is the need for customers to have a live customer service representative to whom they can speak with. Feedback to the customer is also critical. For one, it lets the customer know you care about matters other than taking their money by any means necessary.

I’m new to the Offerup community and app to look for purchase of vehicle and I cant reply to sellers in the inbox messenger after offer is made to complete deal. Error Code notification keeps popping up and wont send my reply. I keep losing out good deals because of this reason. I’ve reached out to support services on the app and I haven’t received any help at all. I’m slowly losing my patience with this and about to uninstall and give bad review to all I know and who use this app. I was really looking forward to some of these deals and purchasing goods that I could’ve utilized very much.

I have been selling items on offerup for a while now. I must say I do experience the same issue. I had over 100 things sold and more than 60 purchases with high ratings. Ive been honest and up front with everything I sold. Always showed up to a meet up. Always very communcative and polite. I even registered myself on TruYou. For some apparent reason offerup had ghost ban me from their app. I am pretty upset about this situation. I am assuming that its a similar experience you had. I feel like you have to cater to the buyer or they will report you for some dumb reason or even if you dont accept their offer or conditions. To be honest Offerup is a very crowded plateform and I would like to have my account back but after messsaging Offerup about my issue I still didnt get a reply or response.
I tried your website I wanted to look at motorcycles in the san Francisco bay area or Sacramento California I put those in the boxes and it went to Seattle Washington motorcycles or Sanger California I’ll stick with Craigslist your website is lame
I reported someone who sent me profanity and I got blocked. I’ve tried time and time again to get them to look into it and they are not.
I have over 1,000 fallowers and five stars. I sell things every day to help my income. I am really hoping there is something I can do to get back to making extra money.
Offer up needs to watch their customers very carefully on the news here you’re all about a month ago or month and a half ago a man was shot at his own home I just gave these people information on my home phone number which I shouldn’t of offramp’s told me before not to do that however I just called on a 2001 Jeep Rangers sport for to earth for $1000 at first they said they were going to go through eBay motors and now they want me to go to Walmart and buy I thousand dollars worth of gift cards I want these people prosecuted and I want something done about it this site is getting us is getting nastier all the time I’ve never been able to get anything off your site. I am in the same boat as the others who have left comments to you. I have been blocked by OfferUp. I cannot find a phone number. I have sent so many e-mails to customer service and no “person” has responded. I love the sight but your customer service is terrible. The only issue I can see that OfferUp would have blocked me for is navigating 2 accounts. One account was for selling and one was for purchasing. If this is the reason why didn’t someone contact me about it? Can someone please contact me ASAP

I bough a P90X dvd set from Elena (white fat woman with a dog in her profile photo) and the dvds were copied and they were blank. I paid her $50. When I contacted her back, she threatened to call the police if I bothered her again. She cheated me out of my money and I contact OfferUp and they have done nothing about it
Today I was robbed, ran over and hand was smashed in a car by someone on offer up. NEVER WILL I EVER use this website again. It’s not safe whatsoever! I’m terrified. I filed a police report but there’s no information on this individual and his page is still up just no where to find him. Because of the lack of information required. On top of that he posted new items right after he robbed me. Which tells me he must do this for a living.

Purchased an Apple IPhone 6 plus from a contact on Offer Up yesterday. Drove to his store, paid him cash. He said it was Unlocked and I could use my Sprint, I took it to Sprint and they said I can’t use it. I called him several times not response, Drove to his store again he was there, he said he’d get one that worked, NEVER heard back again. He is a liar and cheat. I guess I will have to call the Police on him. I am out $ 270.00. You should not allow People to Swindle people once you are made aware of it, like now. Can you take him off your site.
Signed into a friend’s computer to check my account while my phone was dead and now my offer up account is shut down or not working. I’m very upset. Im very disappointed in this team’s guidance , bc the same rules in place to protect the users are creating bad experiences. If my account is shut down or blocked shouldn’t I be given some reason and be able to offer my side. This is totally ridiculous. WHEN AND HOW CAN I DELETE MY FUCKING ARCHIVED ITEMS? MY PHONE CAN’T EVEN BRING THEM up because there are so many of them. Why you just can’t delete them is absolutely beyond me. There are so many things you can do for the site to make it so much better, easier and more fun for buyers and seller’s like putting a fucking customer service phone number somewhere in the universe. looks like you’re hiring people for that job what the hell is going on?
Just go ahead and Shuffle this up to some desk that has no fucking clue what’s going on on the site itself and let them make an uninformed decision that will negatively affect thousands.

I have bought and sold many things on offer up and now for some reason it does not recognize me when I try to log in and I am not able to get customer service because their isn’t any.. There are many wonderful sites where you can get on and make some fantastic deals Let Go being another. The majority of people will never stand for this kind of incompetence and they will just continue to move on.
