About Nerf
Nerf (trademarked as NERF in capitals) is a popular toy brand established by the Parker Brothers. Nerf is currently owned by Hasbro, an American multinational company, and is in the market with a wide range of foam-based weaponry and other products, including balls for basketball, American football and baseball. The most popular product line of Nerf is the dart guns, popularly known as blasters. Parker Brothers started Nerf back in 1969, with a 4-inch polyurethane foam ball. It has been a home run for Nerf since then, and the company stands out for soft textures and bright neon colours. With the famous slogan “It’s Nerf or Nothing”, Nerf has taken on the leaders of kids entertainment world by storm for a long time. The brand value currently stands at US$ 411 million, with reported revenue of US$ 400 million. The brand has won several awards and has been crowned for the best outdoor toy of the year and best boy toy of the year for Nerf Super Soaker Shot Blast and Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS Blaster, respectively.
The first product to hit the market was a foam ball, which was a result of an idea brought to the table by a Minnesota based game inventor who wanted an indoor football game which was safe to play. Parker Brothers studied the idea carefully, and decided to eliminate everything from the ball except for the foam. In 1970, the first Nerf ball was introduced with the title “world’s first official indoor ball” and was named Nerf, which was a slang term used for foam padding in the off-road racing. The marketing premise was based on the fact that you can throw the ball without any damage to windows or lamps. That was just the start which is now a part of Nerf’s growing and successful journey. Since then, the company has launched several lines, which were a huge success. This includes Nerf Sports, Nerf Blasters, N-Strike/N-Strike Elite, Dart Tag, Vortex, Rebelle, Zombie Strike, Doomlands 2169, Modulus, Rival, Nitro, Alpha Strike, Ultra, Nerf N-force, Super Soaker, Lazer Tag and Nerf Dog. Hasbro also produced video games and video game accessories for PlayStation 2, Nintendo DSi, under the brand Nerf.

Bought my two boys a nerf rival x-800 and with the safety on and not pulling the trigger, I swung the nerf gun and it accidentally discharged. I do not know if this is a defective gun or a flaw in the system. Just wanted to let y’all know.
I purchased a first NERF commander elite 2.0 gun for my son, brand new, just unpacked it and it doesn’t work at all. It’s seems like a spring is mising or smth as the gun only fires when you really put your back into it. So, of course we weren’t happy and there doesn’t seem to be a way to repair it.
I bought NERF Ultra Speed Fully Motorized Blaster on amazon and I am missing darts and I put in new batteries in side and the nerf gun didn’t work. I need a refund or replacement.
I have got some feedback.
1. I’d recommend recalling as many elite 2.0 blasters as you can and make it BETTER like its predecessor nerf elite.
2. Make new and better darts such as the waffle dart or half dart.
3. Make blasters cheaper and re-release popular blasters like the jolt.
It would be extremely helpful if Nerf would put a picture, of the ammo needed for that gun, on the side of the gun. Even just the tip of the ammo would be helpful. I’m currently surrounded by 5 boys with 5 different Nerf guns and ammo for 10 different guns. More time has been spent trying to figure out what ammo goes in which gun.
You need to come up with an inexpensive non-toxic solution to mix at home for use in water guns. The disappearing ink like what was used in zap-it water guns back in the late ’80s and early ’90s!!!
So I had purchased many nerf items to start a collection, two of these items were nerf roblox guns and they come with special codes to redeem for virtual items. I have lost one of the codes to one of the guns, can you tell me email me the code, and if you need anymore information, also email me for that. I have the actual guns and the box just in case you needed to know. Also, the guns I got were the nerf jailbreak armory.
I just purchased the Elite Flipshots Flip-16 for my son. He played with it once and it has jammed and now the trigger will not release, the primer is stuck, and the barrels don’t flip equally. This is ridiculous and a waste of $$.
We bought a few guns and it was the worst buy ever. Absolutely frustrating having to deal with guns that jam right off the bat. We literally didn’t get any play time. From the time the guns were opened its been 1 issue ofter the other.
I have a Nerf gun and for some reason the bullet won’t even come out and like normally it’s spinning but now it’s spinning slowly.
We have bought several items in the last couple of months and they literally break within minutes. The plug comes out quickly so it loses its squeak then the rubber tears or the tennis balls tear at the seams. The last toy he got for Christmas came with around 15 tennis balls, we dumped them on the floor and he went from one to another and each time he bit one it tore, all were destroyed in 15 minutes. I called NERF they said sorry you need to call Grammercy they manufacture the dog toys. I called their non 1-800 line several times and no one answers the phones, no return call either. Super disappointed in Nerf, if you put your name on it, you should stand behind it!!
Bought the Nerf airstrike 2.0 as a Christmas present for my son. Complete garbage. Not only does it require (4) c batteries it didn’t work at all. I completely disassembled it. Determined one of the switches was bad. It was wired properly. Luckily it wasnt the only gift, would have been a terrible Christmas. Not happy with Nerf lately. Garbage materials, overpriced and this is the 3rd motorized gun I purchased that wasn’t operational. I was able to fix one with a soldering gun. Chinese plastic, last time I’ll purchase Nerf.
With no receipt for the 3 Dinosquad Nerf dart guns I purchased for my Grandson, I’m stuck with $60 of malfunctioning plastic. Sometimes they work as advertised, but most of the time the darts either don’t come out, or in the case of the Triceratops one, shoots all the darts together.
