I have had problems every time we go to a motel 6 location. My mother’s credit card was charged without permission. This location in dayton ohio. Then the franklin ohio motel 6 has bedbugs. Manager was irate about us asking for our money back. We paid cash. These need to be addressed. We occupied the premises for over 30 days.
Stayed at Motel 6 in Rochester, NY and will never stay at a Motel 6 again. First thing we saw when we got in the room was roaches in the bathroom. Dirty towels on the floor in next to the beds. Beds hastily made as if someone had just got out of them. Dried crusty food on the desk. Save your money and your sanity and don’t stay here.
Knowing that Motel 6 is a budget place to stay I can get over the horrible condition of the one I just stayed at. (except it had roaches and the toilet plugged up the 1st night and they never came to fix it) No, my problems are; that I had made a reservation online through them directly (not a booking.com or anything) for a weeks stay at their Studio 6 one. I was easily made aware of the ‘cancel by 6pm or your card will still be charged’ policy and I did not cancel. My ride to get there unexpectedly ran late, but I did not even think to call them because I WAS coming. Keep in mind that I had reserved a wheelchair accessible room… Well when I got there, my ground floor room had been rented to someone else and I had to accept a 2nd floor one. They would not allow me to keep my $30,000 chair in their lobby and I tried to convince them that I had to keep it safe due its its value but still could not convince them. Well, it was stolen within a few hours. Then I find out they do not have security cameras ! Why did they not disclose that when I was checking in?
Stayed at Motel 6 in Pooler, Ga and will never stay at a Motel 6 again. We were evacuating from Florida on September 7th ( checking in around midnight) and first thing we saw when we got in the room was a puddle of water on bathroom floor. When we wiped up the water we noticed the floors were filthy …not just dirty, they were filthy. The toilet seat was dirty and stained. Mattress on beds were stained. If we hadn’t been exhausted we would have not stayed. Drawers in dresser wouldn’t shut and refrigerator was iced over. And people in room next door were loud with a screaming baby!
