I’ll try again. My first attempt to leave a critique was under review and has now been removed. Unless I have my money refunded for an order that didn’t arrive I will never recommend or order from mercado libre again. I ordered audiofonos for my granddaughter. The box arrived 2 days later than promised and it was empty. I’ve attempted several ways to have my grievance remediated and nothing has worked. The “support” mailbox is not attended as I understand the email I received after try that. I could not contact the seller because the link did not work. I sent captured pictures of the steps I took previously to finding out the link did not work. I tried whatsapp during the times that were suggested I would have an answer within minutes. After every text I wrote I immediately received the message that chat was not available. I have received no reply from anyone after having done that. I’m stymied at every turn and try to register a complaint and get my money back. This is totally unacceptable customer service. If this company hopes to have any chance at succeeding it must have reasonable customer service.
I echo many of the comments above. Supposedly I’m level 5, expert but that doesn’t seem to carry an clout solving the problem I’ve had. Ordered audífonos for my granddaughter and the box arrived empty. Every attempt to get some answer about getting my money back has been stymied by the website, The link for contacting the seller does not work. I have a case number but I don’t get any answer to email I send. I was asked to send captured picture of the each step in trying to contact the seller. I did and received an email back that that particular mailbox was no valid. Most recently I’ve sent an email to the corporate office. I don’t hold out much hope and will not be ordering again if I don’t see the $160 dollars I spent on this order.
Very bad customer service.. This is the worst online purchase website I have ever seen.. They don’t even have person to contact if my transaction went wrong.. They took my money first and asked for confirmation to upload my cedula.. And for some reason it never allow to upload .. No idea why I am not able to upload… And finally they took 2567 ARS from my card.. And no idea how to get refund.. Never ever I will use this website again…
I ordered an Iphone 6S 64GB new. The price was set to $5,999. My order was accepted and I was offered an additional special service that costs $399. I was told that if I accept the service the price of the Phone would be reduced to $5,700. I agreed. When the time to pay arrived the service and the discount were not there any longer. I paid with Visa and ML apparently made the charge to Visa (the charge appeared in my Visa account ONLINE. I got a message from ML that they would study my purchase and confirm within 24 hours.
The next day in my account it was written that they rejected my payment. I tried using another Visa but the same happened again. I used a debit card and it too was not accepted.
In the meantime my 6S phone was changed to 6 only.
I went to pay cash money in the bank but there I was told that they needed some “referencia and convenio”. However I could not find any way to contact Mercado Libre either by phone or email.
I spent hours trying to find a way to do that. I called the HO in Mexico City but the phone was not manned and only people who know the extensions could get by.
My purchase was cancelled because I didn’t pay on time.
I can imagine the horror one could get if a return was needed to be made.
This just like an underground operation. Pay first wait to receive their verdict whether they accept your payment. Also one has to go to the bank with insufficient documentation and you end up wasting time and frustration to contact them but in vain and by now your order is cancelled because they have not received the money.
This is more a joke than business. I am sending these comments to MLHead Office and thinking of copying Profeco on it.
Very unsatisfied with details of purchase and lack of contacts to have problem solved. I purchased a product from ML and paid at OXXO. Got an email saying that payment was pending and still haven’t received my order yet, or a response for that matter!
Very unsatisfying customer service, both from Mercadolibre and the seller. Product was never delivered, but Mercadolibre refuses to honor guarantee until product is returned!
Attempted repeatedly to explain this to Mercadolibre, with no help. I give up. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED.
(Incidentally, I also attempted to leave a regative rating on the transaction, but it was rejected. Apparently, only favorable ratings are accepted.)
trying to purchase while in Colombia, using my usa credit card. They want a Colombian id number which I cannot provide as I do not have. trying to complete my purchase I have my Colombian fiancé here helping, cannot find any way possible to contact their customer service, cannot find a good phone number for customer service, therefore I cannot rectify problems and purchase. I find this situation surreal and very unsatisfactory.
This site is atrocious. No option for English.
When you are asked to submit a photo for your cuenta, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO UPLOAD A PHOTO.
It is impossible to contact anyone to ask why the system will not upload a photo.
When you have a code sent via sms, there IS NO PLACE TO PUT THE CODE!

I purchased an item on ML this week. The vendor was out of stock and returned my money. The problem is I paid at an OXXO and they charge a comision for payments of efectivo.
I wasnt my fault that your vendor did not have the product and accepted my order and payment any way.
Its not right that I have to lose the OXXO commision. I want it returned.

Ordered product. Gave visa, INE document and jumped through a myriad of security hoops. Never received a confirmation of the order. Tried to contact vendor but this simple task could not be achieved without a codigo, whatever that is. I will never buy, nor try to, thru mercadolibre mexico again. VERY UNSATISFIED
