About Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was opened in the year 1923. It is a sports stadium located in Los Angeles, California, operated and managed by the University of Southern California. Home of the USC Trojans (NCAA), the stadium is spread out across 18 acres and boasts of a seating capacity of 93,000. Other teams that made its home here include the Rams, Dodgers, Lakers, UCLA Football, UCLA Basketball, Cobras, Ice Dogs, the Stars and Kings. The stadium regularly hosts football games, soccer matches and music concerts and public events. The largest gathering reportedly has been a Gospel crusade by Billy Graham in 1963, with the attendance numbering 134,000.
