    I fully purchased a Hisense TV from Loot on the 3rd of June 2020 due to the fact that i am a Multiply member and could receive some discount. Biggest mistake of my life!!!!!!!!!! They emailed me by notifying me that they could not dispatched our TV as our TV Licence was in arrears. After multiple calls to the TV licence department, confirmation was received that our TV licence is paid to date. Emails went backwards and forwards and still Loot kept saying the licence was in arrears. On the 24th of July 2020 we received an email from Loot notifying us that our TV is ready to be dispatched and we will receive an automated email once dispatched, oh yes and they also apologized for any inconvenience. We still have not received the package and also not the automated email. I will definitely not recommend to anyone buying from Loot as this service is ridiculous and soooo pooor!

  2. They cancelled my order eventhough i sent a POP…. They then could not manage to read their own ref number on the pop. I had to point it out to them, then they stopped replying to my emails… This hasbeen going on for more then a month.
    Did they steal my money or are thy really just not doing yheir job..?

  3. Hi I have purchased a 4 slice toaster on the 6 of June 2020. I have not heard anything from loot not an email to say that it would be delayed. I have not yet recieved the appliance. I have sent and email for the order to be canceled I have still not heard from them. I
    am still waiting for a response. Can anyone tell me how can I get my money back and how I can take legal action against them as this is fraud. Taking people’s money and no contact with the customer thereafter. It’s unethical to operate a business this way. They quick to send emails every day but they can’t respond to a customer. They should be removed as a online company and suppliers should not use this site to sell there products. False advertising and broken promises. My patience has run out and had to resort to posting publicly. Please assist me in geting my money back. I would give takealot a 10 for service, delivery as well as there refund process is very quick. Please people post more reviews about this company as people should become more aware of this company and not go through the same bad service and false advertising as we have.

  6. Loot is an absolute Joke, the order was placed on 22/12/19 today is 17/01/20 and they are still unable to advise of eta or provide resolution. I have never in my life seen such incompetence almost a month and they are still unable to sort out a simple order. their social media team claims there is an issue with the suppliers courier service, surely at this point loot should arrange to collect the item from the supplier in order to honour their commitment to the client? its really not that hard or complicated. the order was meant to be dispatched on 03/01/20 its now 14 days later and they are still not able to give any form of commitment in terms of eta or resolution this is insane

We placed an order on the 22/12/10, today is 09/01/20 and we have yet to receive our order which was due to be dispatched on 03/01/20 , we did phone your call centre and after holding for 6+ minutes our call was answered we gave your call centre our tracking number and they informed us the order is yet to be dispatched and we must wait 48 hours for feedback that’s an additional 2 days.. I’m not sure how this can be considered acceptable very disappointed doubt we will be using loot again. It’s now 16/01/20 and we still have no indication of ETA nor any resolution

  8. Absolute WORST company! i have paid in advance for a 1 year gaming crate for my son and never is it on time. As of today, July 27,2019, we are STILL waiting on June 2019’s gaming crate and now July 2019’s. Each time I email, I eventually get a generic reply stating their is “unexpected delays.” The customer service is NON EXISTENT! There is no way to get ahold of anyone. This company should be ashamed of themselves! It could be something awesome however it has completely been a nightmare!

    LOOT.CO.ZA – PROSPECTIVE BUYERS BEWARE – POOR SERVICE, UNRELIABLE, NO RESPONSE, NO ACCOUNTABILITY

    Loot hides behind its anonymity as an online company to provide a really poor and unreliable service with no accountability. Do not keep to delivery times as stated on their website. Do not respond to emails. If they have not delivered an item, they do not refund your money. Placed an order on 30 March 2018, not received to date and no refund. Also not the 1st time I have been “burned” by Loot. It cannot be overstated just how bad their service is.
