I was queuing patiently for 1ยฝ hrs (from 10.30 to 12 noon on 23/8/21) at HLBB Jln Airport Branch Kuching Sarawak, & upon finally reaching counter only to be told that I have to make an appointment as the officer is not available.
Before I decided to join the que, I called the local bank branch whether I should make a prior appointment for redeeming my little amt of unit trust and I was told to just walk in & join que.
My feedbacks are:
1st the Customer Relation Officer who answered my call was not correct.
2nd there should be another staff to check on those queuing on what services is required as practiced by other banks.
3rd the bank should reduce its manual documentation just to change my previously EPF fund for unit trust. Other institutions automatically change it to ‘cash’ upon client’s age reaching 55 year old.
To Whom this may concern, I am very disappointed with Hong leong services. I have open an FD last month, on the 16th of May. Yet to received FD slip or any document from your officer. He told me he will follow up & he did text me via Whatapps informing me that my document is ready. So we agreed that he will deliver my document to me yesterday. But he didn’t follow up, didn’t call me at all. I have been chasing but your officer isn’t professional enough to keep his agreement.
Know that I will not recommend anyone to Hong Leong bank for any services. Fyi, it was through a close friend recommendation, that I open an account with Hong Leong Bank. Looks like it is time to close an account with Hong Leong bank.
