I bought two Reed screens click and collect from your Cheltenham store.
Within an hour I received a telephone call from a very pleasant and apologetic young lady explaining the despite a diligent search of the store, they were unable to locate the items and that I would receive a refund. No problem.
However, I was then told that I would receive my refund in ten days , this is totally unacceptable!!
You can take my money in seconds, but then want to hang on to it for ten days
This practice, if not, should be illegal.
This situation is of Homebaseโs making in not having an efficient stock control, but I am being penalised for their mistake.
Perhaps, if I decide to buy something from Homebase again, I can take the item away and then pay for it ten days later?
I paid ยฃ12.50 for a delivery of my item last Thursday. I waited in all day and nothing arrived. I rang the helpline who informed me my delivery was delayed and would in fact be delivered the following Tuesday. I was not informed of this delay until I spent 40 mins waiting for the phone to be answered by ” customer services” I waited in all the following Tuesday waiting for my delivery for it not to arrive again. I am now on hold waiting to find out where my order is yet again. No email, text or phone call to let me know it’s not coming. Disgusting service!!
I ordered paint almost 5 weeks ago – still no sign of it, despite being told 3 weeks ago that it was on its way. Can’t get through by email or telephone – nightmare of a company! I know there are many people like me waiting for orders or asking for their money back but are being ignored. Who is going to take responsibility for this mess?

I have just visited your Homebase Store in Selly Oak Birmingham.
I need to request the use of a tape measure and the gentleman offered his help also even tho I had caught him in mid door exit. I would like to express my compliments to John G the staff member who not only assisted with the measurements but also transported the garden storage unit to the till and then helped load it into my car. Please can you make sure that John G is recognised for his friendly and approachable nature even tho I “cornered” him when officially he was not on the shop floor. John is an asset to your team and his attitude and friendly nature should be recognised in some way.

My wife and I feel that a comment needs to be made regarding your staff at the Morecambe store. I purchased a Hozelock expanding garden hose a little over 1 year ago and it since developed a major leak. I returned to the store and, despite many and varied efforts, Hozelock were proving to be difficult to contact. Special mention needs to be made of Chloe very well assisted by Kim, Kristel,and Liam. The problem was eventually resolved so my sincere thanks is extended to them all and I ask that you convey that thanks.
