Today, I went in to return items that were bought online during the COVID shutdown. The associate needed manager approval, and I was offered store credit because the merchandise was purchased days before the shutdown in March. The manager had a sarcastic tone and was very condescending. I chose to do my return at another location, which was quite an inconvenience for me, but refused to be treated this way. I have bought clothes for my children from Hollister for years, but after the way I was treated, I will go elsewhere. When asked his name, the โmanagerโ said it was their policy to never give their names, which I find odd because there will be no accountability for employees who mistreat customers. I asked another associate what their managerโs name was, and they said โLarry.โ I am not sure if this is his true name, but if Hollister continues to have employees like this represent them, they will lose a lot of business!
