I was blown away by service I received from Carringbah. I bought a Norton Protection and Microsoft Office for my computer yesterday. Could not install and went on Norton chat to get help, they shared my comp and could not install, were not bothered to help, said something was wrong with my comp and to return the Norton (just to make things more difficult, I managed to install Office on my husbands account and locked all access to myself, emails and all). Went today to Carringbah store and Jad who helped me yesterday I must commend did not shy away from coming to help, he commented they could have helped if I had brought my computer. Just so happened I did have it with me as I was going to have it checked, (mind you this would have been costly), so brought the tower in to the store and Jack their comp tech ( a wiz ) took over from there. He was with me patiently for two hours, got everything done, Norton installed, Microsoft done, accounts and passwords all set up, he even helped with my ipad and phone, there was nothing wrong with my computer. Great work both Jad who took that extra initiative and I have no words to describe Jack, kept acknowledging other customers as well, all along never stopping to help me, patient with my lack of knowledge and sooooo helpful to show me everything. It’s been such a while since I have seen such dedication, product knowledge and courtesy, thank you Jack
I bought a Vax vacuum cleaner 2/2019 and today the hose came off the handle so I took it back to Harvey Norman store taylors lake where i was helped by joshua and mohit.They were very helpful in resolving my problem.I found them to be very hands on with customer service and even offered me a cup of coffee.The customer service in your store is the best i have experienced and very knowledgeable with the products.Many thanks
I really do not know where to start so I will start here.
On 14/8/11 I purchased myself a Satellite L750/009 laptop DNX Batch 831118028 including 24 months product care repair. Product care no 0109500019639.
Total – PSK36A-009008 including product care 1087.00 ex GST. I also bought a power board protector for $90.00ex GST.
Well I can say confidentially the computer is the worst purchase I have ever made and now when I go near a Harvey Norman Store I think of how much grief the computer has given me. I was meant to help with my life. The computer was bought from your Tweed Heads Store and when I bought it the girl was very nice. Well I got the thing home and have never been happy with it. When I took it back with product care they had it for ages and eventually said they could not fix it and eventually replaced it with another one the same. Well the same problems occurred. All of a sudden you would press a button and it would keep typing that letter or if you were doing something it would keep beeping a total nightmare, you would have to try and shut the whole thing down and try and start again. I lent it to my daughter thinking it might be me but she ended up losing all her work trying to do a uni assignment. It’s name became Shitbox which I will not call it again on here, I will call it THE COMPUTER. I really do not why it did not get returned again but when I think back it was the ordeal I went through when I returned the first one, with really no outcome. They were really nice when I bought THE COMPUTER but the after service I can say was far from good. The manager of service at the time was a little upstart and a knowall.
Why I am writing to you know is – Well this afternoon I decided to give THE COMPUTER another go and what a let down once again. For your information THE COMPUTER was meant for photos writing emails and for research. Just a general computer for general use.
Hoping you can help me with this matter now as I would like to go into a Harvey Norman Store with the anxiety I feel that I get now. I think if I buy something else will I get ripped off again with no back up.
