About Grab
Grab is a ride-hailing platform for booking taxis, private cars, and motorbikes. Founded in 2012, the company is present in eight countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines. Grab is available for both iOS and Android. Using the app, users can book a taxi or car in minutes. The app auto-detects location for pickup. Users input their destination and wait for a confirmation from driver. Booking can be made using cash, credit card or mobile wallet. Grab’s services include GrabTaxi (taxi-hailing service), GrabShare (a ride-sharing service), GrabBike (motorbike hailing service) and GrabFood (Grab’s food delivery service). There is also JustGrab that comes with upfront fixed fares for any ride.

The company claims it offers transparent and fixed prices, besides insurance coverage. If you need a premium car, you can opt for GrabCar+ as well. Every GrabCar driver is rigorously screened and rated. GrabCar service operates 24 hours a day throughout the week. If you want to report a driver or have a complaint on payment charged, you can do so through the app. And if you have lost an item in the vehicle, you can call the driver from within the app or request the Grab support on same. If the item is found, you can fix a place to meet or have the item dropped at any of Grab’s branches. Non-perishable items will be kept for not more than 3 months.

Want to join Grab fleet as a driver? You can fill the form available on the website or walk into a Grab branch to complete the formalities. For more information or queries on payment, refund, technical support, or others, reach the Grab Malaysia support.
