About Grab
Grab is a ride-hailing platform for booking taxis, private cars, and motorbikes. Founded in 2012, the company is present in eight countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines. Grab is available for both iOS and Android. Using the app, users can book a taxi or car in minutes. The app auto-detects location for pickup. Users input their destination and wait for a confirmation from driver. Booking can be made using cash, credit card or mobile wallet. Grab’s services include GrabTaxi (taxi-hailing service), GrabShare (a ride-sharing service), GrabBike (motorbike hailing service) and GrabFood (Grab’s food delivery service). If you want to report a driver or have a complaint on payment charged, you can do so through the app. And if you have lost an item in the vehicle, you can call the driver from within the app or request the Grab support on same. If the item is found, you can fix a place to meet or have the item dropped at any of Grab’s branches. Non-perishable items will be kept for not more than 3 months.

On 22nd April for some reason i had to cancel my grab booking to the airport in Penang. To my astonishment, i was fully charged for it. I contacted the help centre and they admitted the error and promised to reflect the full amount of RM 22 to my credit card. However, to this date i regret that i have not received the refund. I hope this can be resolved soon.
Grab app should have the choice to cancel the entire order if some of the order is not available. Happened to me like a few times. They just removed some of the item and im not able to cancel the order. So disappointed.
Ordered GrabSupermarket through Grab App. Very very disappointed and unsatisfied with their service!!! Waited whole day but they never deliver my order as per date and time agreed!!! Those are fresh foods like eggs, breads, seafoods, etc!!! Have to drive out to buy to risk myself in the pandemic!!! Yes, fully agree Grab is making themselves uncontactable!!! No where to find their contact number except the address in Sek 13 PJ!!!
Out of the sky with no clue suddenly they delivered after 2 days!!! Now my house full of eggs, breads, seafoods with no where to keep them before they get rotten!
I ordered Domino pizza for a friend, after 20 min, the system showed the order was confirmed but in the queue, no driver was assigned. I understand that it was Puasa period, the delivery might be delayed, so I called the support, guess what the answer was, PLEASE CALL THE MERCHANT, I CANNOT HELP YOU. If order is not delivered, the customer have to call individual merchant? Did the customer service have the courtesy to call them to find out what’s happening? Better still the customer service promised to have the supervisor contact me but till now no response.
I also ordered Dominos via Grab. Struggled over 2 hours to get an update on the delivery!! Grab customer service make themselves very hard to reach nowadays and want to avoid responsibility for such food orders.
may i know how to solve this? i have been waiitng for 2 hours+, and the order automatic updated as complete but i didnt receive my food! and both parties are pushing around for my refund!
Was very disappointed with my Grab Food order last night. My order was stated as completed, but i didn’t receive it. At first, i called the restaurant (Penang Nyonya SUbang Parade) and they said will check with driver and return my call.Hence, expected no call. Then after, i called your CS. After some checking, they told me the order has been disposed because driver can’t contact me, and no respond after SMS sent informed to wait for another 10 minutes. Of course not reachable as i have changed and updated my current contact number!!! What makes me really angry was no action will be taken, so my money just paid for something i don’t get. I have a question here, it’s not my first day using your service, in fact just ordered once on Monday (25/5/2020) and the driver has no issue calling me to pick up the food at my lobby. So why this time has issue?? Funny thing is when i gave my current number to your CS for verification, she able to track my account. So?? Is it my problem that your system failed to update user details??
i never thought of using other food delivery before, but this incident happened has really trigger me to do so. Look, i don’t even bother for refund now, as clearly your CS has thrown the blame on me, your customer of what had happened.Well yes to you probably don’t care of losing one customer, but please bear in mind the power of social media.

Hi I experienced similar situation yesterday. I topped up rm65 to pay for dominos order. No response was there and my order was cancelled. Money is now stuck at grabwallet!! If I dont top up order cannot go through? It is not everyday or every week I order from Grabfood. Why park a huge amount in the wallet? Spoke to customer service and decided to terminate my grab account just so that I can get back my money back!
Hi, I’ve problem with my grab account..after updating my apps for grab there were many problem to fix. I cant search my grab car and i try to uninstall before install it back. Once again completely install i cant open it because i forgot my old email and password. Actually that old email were not actived. So, I hope u can help me to fix this for easier to wear. Just wonder if you have remove Dyson hair dryer from the rewards redemption catalogue? The hair dryer was redeemable at 200,000 points previously. The hair dryer is the main reason I use Grabpay. If you take that out from redemption catalogue I don’t see good reason to stay on
Don’t trust Grab!!! They will never give you the reward, such a big lier. My friend spent 200,000 points to redeem the Dyson hair dryer, but my friend was told that he redeem this hair dryer through suspicious activity and fraudulent manner. In fact, he/ she didn’t earn these points via any fraudulent manner, he / she was wronged by Grabpay. Grab didn’t give any solid reason about this and also took a long time to reply the email. They didn’t point out the specific reason about this denied redemption. Grab doesn’t want to give out the reward and even immediately forfeits all the points of my friend’s grab account. After that, grab removed Dyson hair dryer from the redemption catalogue. They do not give out any hair dryer, but they remove it immediately.
To earn those points is not easy, they make their loyal customers to feel dissapointed, and grab unreasonably forfeit all the points, just not let you to redeem the reward. They just lie!!!!!
Hi, may I know how come now the new join grab car driver is not AUTOMATICALLY incoming jobs (AA) for 2018 & 2019 grab car driver, still can manually chose the Jobs. Since 30Aug 2019 Friday 10.10am unit today 10 Sept 2019 Tuesday 4.30pm those Driver still enjoy manually Function.
Now I join on 2017 is focused AA is very unfair and effect my income. Please take action.
Really frustrated and disappointed again today when i called for a grab ride today. The car number WC4752C had accepted my booking and my booking was cancelled by driver after waiting for 15 minutes WITHOUT reason. I am thinking the reason most probably is i am using grab pay, as this is not the first time the booking had been cancelled by driver when i using grab pay. I also understand from some drivers that some may refused to accept grab pay as they prefer cash. However, Grab is encouraging customer to use grab pay!! Please take necessary action against such drivers which simply cancel customer’s booking!!!

What a shame! I received a complaint from our security personnel concerning your Grab driver. On Sunday, 11 August 2019, just 42 minutes to midnight, our security personnel on duty at the hotel Security Checkpoint had a stopped a white colour Nissan Almeira bearing plate number PNJ 6514. During the car check, our security personnel politely asked the Grab driver of PNJ 6541 to open the bonnet of his car as part of the security car check procedures for all vehicles. The Grab driver refused to open the bonnet and used vulgar words to our security personnel. The Grab driver who refused to cooperate then instructed the guests (the passengers) to step out of his car and left them in the dark at the Security Checkpoint. The Grab driver then quickly drove away, showing vulgar hand gesture, not only once by twice. Such behaviors is unbecoming and will tarnish the reputation of Grab and the hotel. Please look into this complaint and we look forward to hear from you . Thank you.
I am writing to complain about your GRAB system. Since last week, I have been experiencing problems with GRAB for assigning a driver who was far from my pick up location.
This morning proved to be the worst, I have a driver who was 15 minutes away from me.
I would really appreciate if you can provide me with a suitable explaination for this matter. I simply do not believe that there was no available grab driver nearby.
I have made no less than 10 calls to 1-300-80-5858 over the last week to request for feedback on my hand phone left in Grab car on 06 August.It was reported driver had refused to return calls to the several attempts by Customer Service;
I was advised the next step is to suspend the service of errant driver to trigger a response.I did not expect to recover phone but feel that appropriate action to be taken on the errant driver; I am concerned that he will step up from stealing phone to robbing the passengers!
In my last call on 12 August, Customer service could still not confirm if any action had been taken against the driver.
In my last three calls, Customer Service will arrange for duty Manager to call to advise on actions taken within 24 hours of my call. So far I have not received any call or email.

On 4th Aug 2019 we were going to KLIA for our family holiday. He cane to pick us up.
He got the wrong direction/ info about my address form my guard house
& talk rudely as tho it was my mistake. His tone of voice is like scolding.
When he reached my residence, I told him that his tone of talking to me is not right & replied by saying “WHATEVER”.
Pls take serious action on this driver as they represents GRAB in a very negative aspect.
I am very disappointed with this situation. Btw I didn’t get any notification on rating the driver at that moment of the service.

I would like to share my “experience” with one of your grab drivers, he mentioned his name is Mohd Azlan from Klang and his car is a red Perodua Myvi (registration number WB571 J). Though my experience was not as a passenger but rather as a fellow road user. On Monday, 5 August 2019 at about 7:20pm at Putrajaya Sentral – being a rather congested area, as I was driving slowly and approaching a corner with pausing stopping, I was suddenly hit on the passenger left side of my car by another car. This unfortunately, turns out to be your grab driver as I mentioned above. He admitted he was a grab driver and rushing to pick-up a passenger awaiting nearby and wanted to brush-off the incident quickly as possible. However, looking at the situation of my car (a Perodua Myvi too) I asked him to called-off/delay his duty as a Grab driver so that the matter can be solved amicably. I believe and trust that being a Grab driver one is supposed to drive safely as accordance to the road regulations and importantly upheld a polite and positive demeanour since he’s a Grab partner. However, he keeps on repeating he is a Grab driver and needs to rush off and he is nowhere at fault, but he was driving FAST as he was in a HURRY to fetch a passenger . Unless, being a ‘polite’ and ‘safe driving’ person representing Grab only applies to its passenger to ensure 5-star rating.
Again, knowing that he admitted being a Grab driver is an utter disappointment especially in his poor attitude, not only was he rude, sarcastic, raising his voice he was also very much indifferent to the accident that took place. The damage to my car not only resulted in my front bumper being scratch and dented, with the bumper out of place and the paint from his car also impaled to the color of my white car. Worse of all, the passenger side door became jammed and cannot be opened! Reminding you of his attitude I mentioned before, he refuse to even attempt discussion in how best we can come to consensus – rather he blatantly refuse to even pay/offer any compensation worse he continue to mock me by chuckling and laughing because he didnt believed that my car door was jammed until i showed him it cannot be opened from either outside or inside.
Do know that I am NOT seeking out for Grab for compensation. Rather than, I am here to make a complaint of your Grab driver, Mohd Azlan from Klang, driving a red Perodua Myvi (registration number WB571 J) for his severely POOR and RUDE attitude and most importantly his POOR DRIVING SAFETY on a fellow road user. I truly hope appropriate action is taken into consideration and a red-flag is raise for this Grab driver of yours.
I had an issue of my ride being cancelled yesterday morning whereupon I was slapped with a RM5 cancellation fee. I wrote to forward my feedback about my issue to the Grab email that was advertised on this page but was told that I had to do it through the Grab app. Sad to say, I’ve tried and tried but the app just isn’t userfriendly to blind passengers like me using the IOS app. I hope Grab will seriously address this accessibility issue.

I want to report your grab driver Mohamad Rafi B.Yaucob – Car no:RX 7497.(Perodua Bezza Red).I ordered grab around 11.15 pm at Mahost Restaurant Bukit Bintang. At 11:45 turning out from an alley next to Federal Hotel. I expected him to stop but he speeded past Federal Hotel into its alley on the left side. This causes me to run after him and I managed to knock on his boot when he was going down the alley. He didn’t stop and added speed to lose me. Oh my god! What kind of service is this ? This is so dangerous. I texted him but no reply . When I called and asked why he didn’t stop he said he will turn back. And so I waited another 10 minutes to no avail. Disgusting service! I tried cancel but he apparently had put he had picked me up already as it was stated on the way. I got a notification this morning at 11:37am that my Debit visa had been debited RM11.00!This is daylight robbery! I strongly condemn this cheating behaviour and endangering passengers lives by speeding and making me chase amid all the traffic! I demand to be refunded back RM11.00 and do take stern action against this gangster grab driver please for the sake and safety of all us consumers. Letting him to continue with his irresponsible and cheating attitude will cause undue harm and danger to all. Looking forward to your prompt action on this serious matter.

I would like to bring to your attentions for my recent trip. I usually use 5 to 6 Grab Car services a day for my business trip.
Your Grab driver service level has drop very badly. I have driver asking me to walk out of airport to get into his car because he complain very long Q in the airport. I also encounter Grab driver just sit on the driver sit without even want to help to put the luggage. I am not carrying a big luggage but I have my laptop and handbags to manage.
Hope you look into this, we know that now Grab has monopolies the services but this does not mean we passenger has to follow your driver introduction.

Hi , I’ve ordered Grab Food and the driver was unable to find my house saying that my address is incomplete but what I saw from the grab food app is that the driver still few minutes away from my pin location. I was on my phone for 10 minutes and the driver still haven’t reached at my door step yet. So I called her and she said she left the food at the guard house of the other housing area which are few miles away from my house. So I went to pick up the food , but it’s already gone when I was there. I called to the customer service and complaint but they said there’s nothing they can do as I was unreachable within 10 minutes.. The driver and customer service called me between 5.47-5.49 PM and I text the driver at 5.55 PM. Isn’t this within 10 minutes ?????? Besides, the app did not mention that I have to collect my order within 10 minutes. So is this the way you solve this problem by saying there’s nothing you can do ?

Hi. I would like to make a report on the driver who had cancelled the trip but my bank notified me via sms that my VISA debit account has been deducted based on that cancelled trip fare. I called the driver and he confirmed that he has made the cancellation. I have a screenshot of both grab and VISA deduction notification. Please advise how you manage this and return my money.

I would like to lodge a report to your good office whereby one of your driver whom in my opinion had an disservice on 22Dec18 evening. I happened to accompany my friend to her house in PJ using your Grab service by driver Mr.Lim (vehicle registration BMA 7749)
It was at 7.36pm along LDP in which Mr.Lim was on a U-turn lane where out of sudden he switched on his signal light and made an abrubt left turn wanting to head into SS4A/1 instead. His crued driving caused his front bumber to hit on a Hyundai driver’s door. What really pisses me off was that he got off his car and reprimanded and shouted at this old lady victim!
It was so obvious this Mr.Lim was at FAULT!
If this is how most Grab drivers behaved and indiscipline on the road, perhaps that horrendous trip will probably be our last !
1) I just paid RM1 to get the 10X free McDonald’s delivery. I am supposed to get the promo code in My Rewards but nothing appears. It is almost an hour now and still no promo code. Did Grab just rob me RM1? Please reply.
2) How come GRAB does not have a regular number? The caller has to pay to call GRAB’s telephone number 1300-80-5858 which is not toll-free.
Grab should either has a regular number where the caller pay regular rates or better still, have a 1800 number which is toll-free which means that the callers do not have to pay.
There were two cancellations ADR-18972507-5-237 (14 Nov 18) and (ADR-18972507-5-239 (15 Nov 18) occurred. The initial was cancelled by myself and the following was cancelled by the driver. Both were cancelled within 2 mins after the bookings were confirmed. However, I was still being charged RM 5 and RM 8 respectively booking. I would like to request back the refund of RM 13 back to my Grabpay account. Thanks.
I want to voice my encounter my booking ID is ADR-27317435-9-044. I wanted to voice this as I feel the customer service staff who attended this case Ms.Loges is truly disappointing. Somehow it reflected the value & culture of the company the direction of their service which is not customer centric. I ordered my food but waited till after 3hrs but not a single call or SMS which reached me (but Ms.Loges insisted the grab driver did send me msg). The ridiculous part is, I ordered the food from Seremban 2 but the driver said he insisted he texted me saying that he had been waiting for 10mins at the nearby Daniel hair salon Taman Molek. Johor Bahru & Seremban are two different states with distance more than 300km. This is not the worst part, the worst is Ms Loges replied to my email asking me to disregard the earlier email & reconstructed the grab driver’s SMS sent to me (the SMS has never reach me until today, I urged them to check with the Telco company). It is to my surprise that they can modify their “evidence” just simply asking me to disregard their explanation. And from beginning to end Grab company never intend to solve my complain because they side grab driver. The toe emails replied to me only repeating that driver insisted he can’t reach me so I had to absorp the loss. I wonder why no partial compensation being given a chance but rejected my complain out right without taking any investigation at all.
The loss is insignificant however it pointed out clearly to me Grab company’s vision is non customer centric. And the important point I want to voice is, I let go Grab service due to Ms Loges’ disheartened email & her integrity in solving a discrepancy. For your attention management of Grab. Thank you.
I want to request the receipt that i have made on 11/11/2018 via Grabpay credit for the outstanding balance RM98.70. This is because i want get the receipt for claim back purpose. This ride is on 27/7/2018 and i failed to make the payment by debit card.
