About GoBank
GoBank is an online bank founded in the year 2012. Established by Green Dot Corp, GoBank has a network of more than 42,000 free ATMs. You can locate an ATM on the website by address, city or zip. Note that withdrawals made outside of the GoBank ATM network will not be free. This company needs serious help. I have been dealing with filling several disputes for about 5 months now. Everyone I try I either get hung up on (5 times tonight alone) or I get so frustrated and pissed off I end up hanging up the phone. They have allowed charges I didn’t authorize to pay to my account and become overdrawn then continue to charge me overage fees. They refuse to issue a new card because I have moved and now have a PO box and they won’t send the card to a PO Box. The language barrier is ridiculous, and when your try to tell them you didn’t understand they just keep taking right over you. Then hang up when s supervisor is requested. They only have 1 phone number to call for any kind of help this is insane.
I couldn’t agree more with the comments above. I have been dealing with the same issue with these people every time. I call they repeat what I say to them but they do nothing about it they tell me that they’ll get it resolved and tell me that I’m not eligible for things that I know that I am they also turn around and then tell me they’re transferring me and they end up ultimately hanging up on me every single time once they continue to do this I call back or try the online service but yet they still do the same exact things. I’ve been trying for over 2 weeks with my Uber debit card to try to get it resolved for the backup balance but they still can’t resolve it they don’t know what they’re talking about everybody there barely can speak English to me and don’t know what they’re saying.
I haven’t received my stimulus from last year they hang up on me they leave me on hold for 2 hours and then hang up on me. They can’t even give the correct email address to verify who you are and they close my account.
This company limited my withdrawals to 3k per month. I Never signed up for such a limit. Then when i call they tell me there is no email to file a complaint in writing. they are not a bank. As if they cant help me because they are not a bank. They actually are a bank. They have a routing and account number. There fore they are responsible for helping us with complaints. I will report them to the bbb and to consumer affairs. I hope and pray this fake ass company gets shut down forever. The telephone calls are terrible. And so not professional. From the representative that barely speaks english on a line thats muffled, i would imagine the goal is to frustrate us. Smh.
Yakima, I can never reach a number where I can speak to someone. Do you have that number? My boyfriend is working overseas and he deposited almost $1,000 on my card, and since I’m in Texas, they locked the card and I only get an automated system, which leads me to document upload to load copy of my driver’s license. I’ve done that, and no response. They’re just collecting the monthly service fee of $8.95. I’m getting ripped off!!!
I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for a dispute that was found in my favor y’all gave me provisional credit then you took it right back because you said that you would heard from the merchants they were going to give me a refund here it is again three weeks again later still on top of the fact that I was granted this so-called refund and nothing has been done on my card so I want to know what’s going on or I’m going to hire a lawyer to get my freaking money but y’all need to give me that provisional credit back
I opened up a GoBank account through Uber and have had no issues. The direct deposit is convenient and I get instant deposits after transactions at ANY gas station. I’m keeping my local credit union account open as well. So far so good!
Someone fraudulently withdrew money from my husbands Uber account. We filed a dispute. Within a week he got a letter back from GoBank saying they had conducted an investigation and determined it was a valid transaction! We live in Florida. Someone by the name of Gealamm * Getvintgebalm from Connecticut withdrew $89.17 from his account. The name itself is so ridiculous it’s obviously a fake! They refused to refund my husband’s money. Who can I contact to report this shoddy bank who blew him off as a liar? This is such BS. No real investigation has been conducted.
I feel your pain this bank is not worthy of having customers I am so unhappy with that bank I just wish I would have never even gone there I’m sorry to hear you lost $89 this way file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
I purchased a gobank card for online purchases before I could even call and activate it some how someone had already taken the money off of the card and put their own information on the card. All of this happened within 10 mins. The amount on the card was 200.00 I have tried to contact gobank since 03/29/2019. One day a man claiming to be called Daniel Karmen called my phone stating that he was with gobank and that if I put 300 dollars on a gobank they would be able to “loan” me my 200 back. The number he used was 205-690-0443. I have not once had anyone from Gobank acknowledge this matter. I am manager at a very well known pharmacy that sells all types of gift/prepaid cards and I advise all of my customers to STAY AWAY from this scamming so called bank.

I got a message 30013008 call to service method has failed. I don’t know what this means, I’m an UBER Driver I’m interested in receiving gas discounts and all the rewards you are offering through Uber. I don’t have bad credit, I currently bank with Digital Credit Union and other banks, I don’t see why I don’t get a response from your Bank : (
I will NEVER use this company as a source for adding or sending money. If you can make through the annoying automated menu you will be in touch with customer service . unfortunately customer service is someone over in Asia who you can barely understand and when you have a problem they cant comprehend, they will just repeat themselves over and over. In my case i was hung up on 4 times they refused to let me talk to a superviser or someone who handles disputes simply because for some reason they have a number on file that i cant verify because its WRONG. Let me just add i have yet to even use the card. So all i was trying to do was register this card that i received in the mail. They have all my information address date of birth email address and my social security. Yet the refuse to put someone on the phone that can help me ! instead they HANG UP ON YOU! finally i reach someone in the dispute department she says just go online and register the card…. obviously not listening the whole reason i called is because i am having a problem doing so ! whatever passcode sent must have expired, because the form sends a message that i cant have access ! then down the bottom there is 2 choices 1 is forgot password? the 2 choice is forgot email. i select forgot passcode in order so i could get a new one, well that dont work because they want your card number and security code to give you a new password so i type that in and it dont work because the card IS NOT REGISTERED! I gave up i am done i will never deal again with this company. I also think people should be aware its another company that farms its work out to other countries and does not keep the jobs here in AMERICA. If this is the service you get when you havent even used your card yet do you really think you can trust they will handle money on your account correctly??? they cant even help with simple issues. Therefore i believe they dont deserve my business or anyone else;s.

None of my info seems to match through the automation system; however, for my business in the future I need to speak to a person. NOone should get a GoBank card/account. I have been without access to my own funds for atleast a couple weeks now and couldn’t reach anyone, even still. They promise to contact me within 24 hours yet NEVER do. It’s as if my OWN money is being held hostage. I am reporting GoBank to the better business bureau and seeking legal counsel now inorder to get my funds plus damages incurred. It finally said I could get online and access my account yet I am unable to send my money, get it from an atm, or even use my card anywhere. The unprofessionalism is Ridiculous and unheard of. Do Not get this card.

I deposited a check via mobile deposit and after cladding the deposit and making it available in my account, GoBank placed a block on my account! They contributed charging me $8.95/month for fees and think Im finally start making head way over a year later only for them to close my account with over $190 in it still and now I can’t get through to customer service! The automated line hangs up on me after telling me my accounts closed!!
I received a GoBank debit card in the mail that I did not apply for. I do not want a GoBank account.

I need to know if I apply for an UBER debit card, which bureau do you access when you run my credit? That’s all, just a simple question. I cannot reach anyone via telephone because I will not give out ss number and will not use so-called debit card number because it is on a card which was unsolicited and definitely not wanted I received in mail today. I believe this is a scam and I have reported it my identity protection source. I will keep card until Monday and then will destroy. I do NOT want anything to do with this card.
My mother received a GoBank MasterCard in the mail today. It appears to be for a new account opened under her name. I have called the police on this matter as my mother has been deceased for over 1 1/2 years!!! I suggest you do an internal fraud investigation, freeze all transactions to this account and closed this account! I have tried to call all the numbers to actually speak to someone but your automated system is grossly inappropriate for a organization such as yours! I am left to reporting this to you via this website, where others will see the fraudulent activity you allow within your organization, which may adversely affect your organizations bottom line! You can also expect calls from the police investigating this matter!
