About Etihad Stadium
Etihad Stadium is an English football stadium with state of the art features and a seating capacity of 55,000. Home to the Manchester City Football Club, the stadium is currently the fifth largest in the Premier League. Besides football, the stadium also regularly hosts concerts and special events. First constructed for the Commonwealth Games in 2002, the multipurpose stadium is located just 1.5 miles from city centre and 11.2 miles from the Manchester International Airport. Also known as City Of Manchester Stadium, the venue is easily accessible by rail, tram/Metrolink, bus and taxi. While the nearest train station is Ashburys, you also have a dedicated Metrolink stop Etihad Campus. For those with their own automobile, there is pay-on-the-day parking available on match days at Blue Car Park’s G & H. Accessible car parking spaces are also made available at Grey car park on Ashton New Road. You can pre-book guaranteed parking on game days.
