The check-in for domestic flights closes 20 minutes before departure. As for international flights, the check-in closes 1 hour before departure. With regard to baggage, fliers are allowed to carry one check-in bag with weight not exceeding 15kg. One cabin baggage is also allowed with max weight of 7kg. Today was my flight back to Japan. I missed it because of the two Eastar Jet personnel at the check in counter. I know they’re just doing their job, but please make sure that your employees are knowledgeable enough about the visa and stuff. I have trusted that they might be right that my visa has a problem and I can’t enter Japan(where I am currently living and working) but when I went to the Japanese consulate here in Busan, they told me that I got no problem in Visa at all. This made so much trouble. They’ve wasted my time. Mistakes are considerable but knowing that they made a mistake, they didn’t even help me to get another flight or even book me somewhere to stay overnight because I can’t book a ticket to other airlines today. They made so much trouble. When it comes to patience and being considerate, I am always in maximum tolerance. However, this case is different. I am sorry to tell, but I think you have improve your costumer service more.
I made a purchase for a return flight
Seoul to Bankok on March 1 and back on March 7, 2019, the same day I cancelled this flight because with my confidence we decided to change destination.
We have been waiting for our refund for over a month and a half.
I continue to call Eastar Jet, in order to get a proof of refund by mail with the amount to be refunded but nothing to do.
I have not yet received any e-mail with proof of reimbursement in english.
I am still waiting for my refund and proof indicating the names of passengers, dates of flights, destinations and the amount to be refunded.
Hi, i’m flying from Narita to Seoul in July this year and I bought the ticket on my debit card. However I’ll be cancelling my debit because I plan to switch banks. Will this affect my ticket at all?

I need your help on this.
I booked the Eastarjet flight on the 7th Dec for my family to travel from Jeju to Gunsan but all the flights on that day to Gunsan were cancelled. I got the refund from Eastarjet (thank you), however, I needed to pay additional ticket price for me to fly to Gwangju on that same day so that my friend could drive down from Gunsan to pick us up.
I’m trying to claim this extra cost from my insurance agency but my insurance agency requested the following:
“Therefore we would need written confirmation on the next available flight offered by the airline and the reason of cancellation in order for us to review your claim. ”
Can you help to provide the above?

We need to contact customer service VIA Email. We are in Bangkok. Your staff did not have medical training and created a very bad situation. We will not fly back on the return and need a full refund. Your staff are not safe and airline is dangerous. Your website has no helpful information to contact anyone unless we are in Korea. We will be filing a complain in Korea, with the airline regulatory authorities. Our company will support us with the language and legal process.
Very disgusted by the unprofessional customer service from this airline. We bought round trip tickets from this airline for Incheon (Seoul) to Ibaraki (Japan). We chose this airline because we could use the airport in Ibaraki and not many flights offer this.
When we were coming back home from Seoul to check in to our flight, we were told at that time the flight has been cancelled due to “maintenance”. No one from the airlines reached out to any of the passengers before the flight was supposed to take off. Other travelers were also stranded like us. Other travelers who could not speak Korean were left in the dark, as the staff only communicated in Korean to Korean-speaking passengers as to what had happened. There was no apology and no explanation from the staff. They offered to refund our tickets or fly to a different airport in Japan, hours away from the airport we had selected and flew out of. They showed an attitude of “take it or leave it” with no care for their customers.
At the time of our check-in, there were only 4 passengers including us who were flying to that specfic airport in Japan. Obviously, it was not practical or cost-efficient for them to have this flight go ahead. But WHY SELL this airport option if you don’t plan on flying there and changing routes the day of depending on how many people show up for that flight? I feel like there was a bit of scam going on as I definitely wouldn’t have chose this airline if I’m going to a major airport like Narita since many airlines fly there.
In order to go home, we had to take another flight to a DIFFERENT airport in Japan. They refused to compensate us for any travel expenses incurred due to the change in airports.
Very horrible service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you want to travel stress-free.

I had a flight booked from Kansai Airport in Osaka, Japan to Incheon Airport in Seoul, S. Korea September 20th 2018 flight 616 at 4pm. I arrived to the airport and was notified by Kansai employees that all eastar jet flights were cancelled. Nobody was notified about this cancellation as others were there for the flight as well. No counter employees to help rebook the flight. I purchased another ticket with another airline to catch my connecting flight back home to Canada. I’d like my refund please! Your customer service line does not exist anymore and nobody replies to the emails I’ve been sending for 2 weeks. I also messaged on facebook with no reply. Please contact me!
This airline is awful. The website doesn’t function correctly and there is no phone number or any kind of service for people who speak Korean. First and last time using them. You get what you pay for.
I am very upset with Easter jet service. The following is my terrible experience. My wife and I took the Easter jet flight from Jeju to Seoul (Gimpol airport) ZE206 on August 18th 2018. After I landing at Gimpol airport, we found the my suitcase was broken. More detailedly, one of wheels of my suitcase was broken (but the broken wheel still on the suitcase). We didn’t report to the Easter Jet staff immediately because of short transfer time. We carried the broken the suitcase from Gimpol airport to Incheon airport and tried to report this kind of problem to check-in counter staff. One of counter staff gave me a phone number 1544-0800 and asked me to call this number, I didn’t called because I didn’t have Korea SIM card. Later on, the staff ask me to sign one document called “limited release”, I signed it because I wanted it shipped to my destination (Ibaraki, Japan). After I landed at Ibaraki, I found that only three wheels remained on my suitcase, the broken one went off. I felt upset and reported the check-in staff at Ibaraki airport. The team leader of Easter Jet, a Japanese Guy, said that because I signed that “limited release” document, So they are free of responsibility of it. And he used his perfect Japanese said “you are lying”. Anyway, He said we didn’t have any responsibility for it because that you signed the limited release. There is no apologies at all during the whole complaining process. Now I am trying to call +82-1544-0800, but no English service for time being. I will keep trying reach Easter Jet staff.

We booked flights from Seoul, South Korea to Taipei, Taiwan last night online but we have not received an email confirming the booking. Nor do we have the booking number.
When we completed our details the booking was finalised and confirmed with booking number appearing on the screen.
An email address was provided for the booking confirmation to be sent to.
