I’ve been a member with crunch gym in caldwell Idaho for 10 years. The pool is used by several seniors and disabled members. The water exercise is a benefit to our health. Why are u taking the pool away from us? The heater has not worked from months and the employees never know anything about maintenance.
I belong to South Slope Crunch fitness. Last Saturday place was mess. Used towels were full & can’t even fit in bin & fell on the floor, no new towels were available on the shelves. No wipe it was empty. I was with Harbor Fitness before Crunch nothing like this happened there. I think Crunch on weekend guys are not good !
I used to go at Crunch Fitness in Westborough MA. The board of health just closed that place, we didn’t receive a single notice or call about it. And they still charging me. I’m trying to cancel my membership and this is unacceptable because they closed the place.
I have been trying to cancel my gym membership for weeks. They just don’t let you. It sounds like other people are having a similar issue. The gym says that the manager is the only person who can cancel the membership and it has to happen in person. But the manager is never there, even when I specifically go to the gym when I was told they would be working. In the meantime I’m just getting charged. I have also emailed the manager repeatedly with no response. They also tell me there’s a cancellation fee, contrary to what I was told when I signed up. I’ll pay the fee if someone just cancels it for me; it seems like I am being scammed at this point.
This is what happened to me too @crunch Fitness in East Meadow NY. Staff is nasty, rude, attitude except the assistant manager Julia there. She was being professional. Including the manager Vanessa who finally came out to talk was nasty with attitude. No wonder why her other female staff members were lying, refusing to give their names. I had went in personally in April 2023 to cancel my membership but they charged my card again on May 9th 2023 n they had no records of cancellation. I didn’t remember the date and took that person’s name who told me it’s cancelled when I went there to cancel it as I was not expecting this to happen but they lack professionalism, no sense and manners of how to talk to customers.
I am a member in Lakewood CA. I have stuck with Crunch for the past 9 years – I even paid all fees throughout the pandemic. Now I am finally fed up! All of the classes besides Zumba are losing instructors based on training certifications. These instructors are some of the best, and they didn’t need these certifications to teach for the past 6 months, but the are now off the schedule for Jan. It’s bad enough that there are so few offerings post pandemic, but the work out rooms don’t have working fans (Lakewood) or not enough weights/mats (Long Beach) but the management doesn’t care to understand or fix issues (ref. 0728190146). If things don’t change I will be going to 24 hour fitness in Jan.
Well this is the worst franchise ever. I joined this gym near my house. Because I couldn’t use the facility in just one month of getting the membership and how crowded is the place, I decided to cancel. But that’s when the nightmare start. That same day I paid a charge for canceling, I was ok, next month they charge an annual fee when I just use the facility for a month and days. Now they charge me again I explained the person that was talking to me and when I ask her that this was an illegal charge, she just hanged the phone.
I live in Cerritos, CA. I had been a member of Cerritos Crunch Fitness when they opened in 2017. The Cerritos Crunch should repair their ceiling of the classroom for zumba. The ceiling has been leaking during the rainy season. It is a health issue. There might have been mold. Mold is bad for your lungs. They put a bucket on the floor in the classroom forever. It’s been more than three months. The second issue is the woman restroom. The hand dryer had been broken 3 years. They put the sign of “Temporary out if service,” but they had never fixed it.
Multiple times I have tried canceling my membership and multiple times the staff says my membership is cancelled yet I continue to get charged. Multiple staff members at the Florence, Ky location have falsely stated that my membership has been cancelled when it clearly has not. Even spoke to corporate and they acted like they don’t really care that hundreds of dollars have been basically taken from me.
Crunch Addison – TX closed and I want to cancel my membership. No one can help me! It’s frustrating because I have been charged several times. They just have me an email address and that was it. I go to another location and they say they cant do anything
Crunch in North Brunswick has horrible management and supporting staff. Not only are they not friendly, they have horrible communication. I have been trying to cancel my membership since November. They told me I had to call to cancel. When I called I was told I was in a 1 year contract so it couldn’t be cancelled. The contract would up at the end of March and they STILL decided to continue my membership and charge me for a monthly rate even thought I have email proof and phone calls stating that I wanted out. When I called a staff meme she told me she would reverse the payment and I could cancel my own membership online. Yet, I was never given the option before. Also! The manager told me he actually couldn’t reverse the payment.
Crunch has been charging my account $16.49 for several months since the pandemic started and I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. My location permanently closed and other locations say they can’t do anything regarding my reimbursement. Now im hundreds of dollars in debt with crunch and have emailed several times…. This is getting ridiculous
Crunch as been charging their customers during the pandemic. I have found a charge in May on my account and none of the numbers for the gym has offered a VM or customer service. As their voicemail states “ they will not be chafing if customers during closure” however, they still are.
Crunch fitness is breaking there own contracts with there customers by not having all the facilities open 24 hours a day. It is unfair for them to take money for gym membership while they are not upholding this section of there contract.
I’m just wondering if I have the correct email address to express concerns about a club in Ontario Canada ?
There are some serious issue occurring in the brantford crunch and it seems the people in charge there aren’t taking complaints seriously.
I went to crunch location with my old tag today and they said you are not eligible for this promotion. I m wondering why I received this email when I m not getting this promotions.
I join crunch January 2018, when I was there st the time of joining I just wanted to test my self for one month. I clearly explained this and they said you can tryout. But I could not make it regularly. When I asked to cancel they refuse so. I did not went whole year I wasted $19 every month whole year.I canceled my membership in November 2018 and just because of this email I thought let’s renew again my gym membership for one more year.
It has been proven now crunch did not keep their promise and make people full. I think I should review about this. Now I need to think twice before joining this gym, I should make aware of this fact about crunch to my friends and family

In August 2016 I had signed up for personal trainer and had bought 25 session. At the beginning of Sept 2016 I had an accident and have post concussion syndrome/brain injury. I was given the go to workout fall 2018. I tried to go back to the gym but the noise, busyness,lights make my symptoms worse. I still have about 22 or 21 sessions left. I asked about transferring my sessions to someone else or getting half my money back but have been told no. Is there any possible way that I can do something with my sessions?? I am unable to workout at the gym.
