After 20+ years of shopping at Coles Knox City – under K Mart shop – and moving to the other store I will no longer be shopping at Coles. There are minimal serviced registers, numerous full size registers to do it yourself as well as the ‘smaller ‘ self serve registers. Facing big signs going on about Zero emissions and two other Zero statements – well you need to add Zero service because that is what you provide. Very disappointed customer. Thank goodness Woolworths now at Knox!
I shop at Coles north rock NSW and the store manager Julie , is the most helpful, compassionate person I have met in retail. Everyone in the store thinks highly of her and I think that staff like her should be recognised. She has worked at Coles for 48 years, and hope she doesn’t retire soon. She is a great example for staff and wish her well.
My a wife and I have been regular customers at your Ocean Grove store for 21 years. I will be 85 in February. We are due to have our Covid Booster this month.
The population of Ocean Grove has been inundated with holiday makers as usual for Summer.
I am appalled by the number of people shopping in the store without masks despite signs on the doors and Masks being mandatory indoors. It is not just a few isolated cases as confirmed by the staff I speak with.
Rightly your staff should not have to confront those not complying.
I am avoiding crowds but have to shop at your store on a regular basis. I want to feel as safe as possible on these occasions.
I am extremely disappointed that Coles has not seen fit to employ Security to enforce its mandatory mask requirement. It is not up to us customers to do so and risk assaults.
Any serious Covid complications resulting from this complacency could be catastrophic.
Did online shopping like l always do every week, but yesterday Coles Endeavour Hills decided that they were going to cancel my order, delivery was booked for 2.30pm – 4.30pm only they cancelled and sent email at 5.30pm no reason just boom cancelled. Called the customer service hotline as they say only to be told that Door dash driver decided he didn’t want to do the job, so they cancelled the order but they still took payment out. But don’t worry we will credit you in 3-4 days of waiting, but please feel free to place another order. And then hung up on me, so l called back only to be hung up on 3 more times, then l rang store number in which girl tells me she’s from another store as there was a Covid case during the week, ok so can l speak to a manager then switched through kept ringing then hung up on again. Called store 2 more times when finally someone answered in which they put me onto someone who apologized and said they would collect the order personally and have a staff member deliver it by 8.30pm, in which they did by 8pm, only to find what l had ordered wasn’t what l received canned soup and harvest meals in a can, pkts of things that l don’t even like the flavour off, am l pissed off you bet l am. If this is what you call customer service of providing items that the customer didn’t order then shame on you Coles. The staff member who dropped off the shopping says oh we gave you things that are higher priced than what you ordered but charged you the price of what was ordered, well looking at my copy of the order l put through to the order l got just doesn’t match up at all. I can tell you l wont be back you have now lost me as a customer Coles, very disappointed with it all as l have been a loyal customer for over 30yrs and this is what l get. 3 weeks ago l let it pass that you didn’t deliver $40 worth of groceries that l paid for in my shop that week, and just waited for the credit 3 days later, but this is disgusting service.
I did some shopping at your St Kilda store today. I was at the checkout at about midday. The person who checking my goods through refused to pack my bags. When I asked him why he gave some nonsensical excuse. I could not understand what he told me.
The person behind me had to buy a plastic bag. He was happy to pack the bag for the next customer.
I feel that I was discriminated against.
If there is a policy of not packing bags it should be clearly visible. I have not had any problems in any other stores.
