Got online products twice with a debit card from ADCB but did not get the 15% discount as mentioned there. After reading all the comments on this page I have a feeling that even my complaint will not be taken care of. But this is just for info for other customers not to use the debit card as u will not get the discount.
I tried carrefour online service this week. I must say I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with two of the orders. First time they sent damaged bottles of water and one was missing. So I had to call customer services and they said they would call me but instead they decided to issue a refund but it will take up to 14 days to appear so I have to wait and see if I get it. Second time the wrapped soap arrived full of oil so I had to call customer services who weren’t helpful and again they said they will refund me but then I got an email with a refund invoice for the wrong items. I asked to speak to a supervisor but no-one called back. As a result I had to cancel three orders in total from this branch because they can’t be trusted to deliver goods in good condition.
I was told to send a message through Facebook they said they will call to solve the issue again no one called. It’s very disappointing and frustrating for your customers when all they get from you are empty promises. All customer care team needed to do is to show a bit of courtesy and call back to solve the issue instead of ignoring me, losing a customer and business in the process.
I made an order online from carrefour Egypt (cost of order was almost 3000 EGP). I just received items for 777 Egp and didn’t receive the rest of the items. I did more than 6 complaints but with no response from carrefour even they didn’t send my money back and every time I call the customer service they make a new complaint and they request a phone call from the manager to me but without any response.
Purchased Whirlpool refrigerator last May 06’2022 at Carrefour Mall of the Emirates Branch, unfortunately I received the said item on May 09’2022 with plenty of scratches inside and after 2 days it stopped working. I went to the branch and the following day they have collected the Refrigerator since I asked for e refund as trust is broken already. May 17’2022 they gave me a receipt of invoice and informed me that within 7 days Refund will go back to my account, On May 31’2022 I went back to follow up on the cash refund and they said they have sent an email and someone will just call me, now its already June 06’2022, still no refund and not even a call from Carrefour or anyone. Item is worth 1299 AED.
I placed order on application and paid the full amount with debit card recieved confirmation email and after few hours received another email with 4 items out of stock.
Next day I checked the application to see when was the delivery time to see order was cancelled marked as failure to deliver.
Contacted call center with my complaint agent did nothing to help me and already items prices went higher and some items are not available anymore. Mentioned that I wanted to raise a complaint but he said a manager will be calling me after one hour or two hours maximum that was three days ago till now nothing has been done.

Today I purchased in Carrefour and I was extremely upset by the behavior of the cashier Teddy in Al jimi Carrefour. I came to her saying that 1 item doesn’t have a barcode and I asked her to ask someone to get barcode for this because I’m running out of time. She replied to me rudely “no! It’s your responsibility to get the barcode and bring here”. I think u need to give proper training to ur staff before u hire them, specially good manners. I’m really disappointed. I am working in well known retail but we don’t treat the customers like this.
I bought some item from Carrefour online and I had to return it as it was not the one I wanted. Return was such a hassle. First of all there is no update from Carrefour side to keep their customers informed about the return status, u have to call them to find out. After calling many times and raising many complaints they took it back. Now I am struggling to get my refund almost 400aed. I have been calling them everyday and a week already passed. I always get the same answer from customer service โthe concerned team will contact uโ. No one ever called me at all.
When I purchased an item from carrefour I was supposed to get a discount which I didn’t get and the agent I contacted told purchase and raise a complaint. But after that no one from carrefour gave me a positive response. After all they told it was wrong information from the agent. Because of the agent I lose money. But when I raise a compliant against the agent ref no.807280. All the customer staff and manager giving me reply that the staff was right.
I ordered last Nov 23, 2021, the item should be delivered on the 27th of November, but unfortunately no order received from carrefour! I’m very disappointed. If I know that this will happen on my online order I will not order to you! I file the complaint but no one also call back from carrefour. What is this? are you serious doing business with your customers? And take note the item was already PAID! CARREFOUR UAE WAKE UP!
I am a regular customer of Carrefour for the last few years and I was very happy with the products and services. Therefore, I bought the mobile phone for my wife last week. Kindly read the below details and provide me justice as early as possible.

On 7th November 2021 we purchased a Samsung A03s from the main electronics department. They OPENED the seal insert the sim and the phone was said to be ‘operational’. The next day on, I started receiving complaints that my phone was not reachable. On trial, I got to know the phone doesn’t support call incoming and outgoing (the main purpose of the phone). We visited the following Saturday(13-11-2021). The salesman(on duty at around 8pm on that day) who sold this piece to us pressed a button without even inquiring the problem prior to the reset and send us home saying there is not any problem.
On our way back, the same problem recurred. We decided to return the phone since the bill slip clearly reads that mobile phones are subject to refund IF A FAULT IS FOUND. We went there on 14-11-2021 Sunday. We were send to the customer care counter where an extremely ill-mannered guy who was the store manager(on duty at 1pm on the given date) there told us to take it to a mobile shop near our house.
The bill slip’s clause was of no use. They said we refund only if the seal is not open. It is impossible to monitor a seal pack phone for any defects. He also said we do not take responsibility for a 1 lakh cellphone, this being a mere 22000pkr. We asked Faizan as to why he didn’t tell us all this before purchase to which he said “nahi itni detail hum purchase k time pe nahi de sakte”. They went on to say you need to visit service center in Samsung. Sort it out yourself.
Who holds accountability for any defects found in a mobile phone taken from there? Worst experience and the management is terrible. There is no-one who is ready to answer. They need civilized managers for once! I am sad to say that none of the staff is trained properly and not aware of the policy. I would say that they MUST need training.

you have so many loopholes in your online ordering cycle system- I donโt know how a big chain like this is functioning like this.
It happens at least once every 3 orders. The Customer service group are mostly helpless and you get a generic message that they all memorized.
Our credit card got charged for Meat order- the driver drops the order and rushes, our house help received the order and from the first look it was nothing that we got charged with. I called them 2 minutes after the driver left our door step – they told me it takes 3-4 days to get resolved.
Itโs been 11 days now and I called 4 times – I have the names of the customer service agents who answered me and NOTHING- they know nothing then can do nothing. When you ask to speak to supervisor- either they tell you theyโre not here or in a meeting or supervisor cannot talk to you !!!!! Imagine supervisor cannot talk to the customer- I hope Carrefour France can hear this.
Unfortunately, after reading all comments. I have no wonder now of chaos happening in Egypt locations as well. Cancel order and writing that I asked for cancellation and no refund yet done. Is this how the chain established? No clear channels for communications and systems always down. They refused to confirm any sort of complaint.
I purchased a Bradley’s Smoker. The day it was suppose to be delivered I received a sms saying a refund had been actioned. I checked my carrefour account and the order had been cancelled. No explanation at all. 3 days later I’m still waiting for the refund. How can you hang on to my money when an item wasn’t delivered.
Carrefour is a big name, a big company but you have loopholes in your online ordering system. I had place an order for an item which is in promotion but when I checked out, the price was full. Both the website and the application is saying that the promotion is on-going 12 hours still to finish contrary to what your customer service was saying that maybe the promotion has ended. Second, I had placed 5 orders (5 invoices) delivered to my home. Only three items for in all of those 5 invoices. In total I ordered 3 x5s alokozay facial tissue (all were delivere), 5 x30s fine XL toilet paper but only 4 came and they substituted with 2 x4s (if you were in my place 30 against 8, do you think that is fair?). And lastly scott kitchen towel x2s, orderee 26 but only 17 came and substituted with fine pro kitchen tow two rolls. (2 against 18, is that fair?). Your customer service had a hard time lodging my complaint as I called immediately after delivery. To which invoice is it applied, i had to make a deduction and scratchnout the invoices who had alokozay on it as they were all delivered. 2 invoices out. 3 ate remaining. I had to assume one invoice is completely delivered and the other two incomplete. I was told I will receive a callback. I was busy in the office so did not have the time to remember this. After 4-5 days I remebered that I still have missing items. I called again and was told these items were delivered. Why will I call if I had received them. After 7 days from ordering I called again and there I saw that 4 invoices are delivered and one still processing. And during my calls I reiterated that I dont want a refund, I want a delivery but the last person I spoke with said there is no other option but to refund which by the way takes so mich time as well. I know that you dont invoice us until the items are punched. So what happened. I got invoices but no items? And you would conveniently say that you will refund but these items were under promotion. Carrefour you are not being fair. Check your system. Do an audit. I have not encountered problems with other online shopping platforms. Only with you. Others they are straight, direct, honest. Unlike yours. If people do not know how to complain, are you happy getting profit in this way? And we could not even speak to a supervisor or manager if your customer service cannot help at their level. And if we go to your stores, they cannot help also as you are centralized that it is difficult to get holdnof you to get answeres or resolutions to the problems facing us.I have already said before that people should not be able to add to their cart if there is no stock. Secondly, you are not invoicing until you have checked the stocks. But in both counts you have failed. Your system has a flaw, hire a debugger for your platform to make it bullet proof. You people will be the death of your customers as it is very stressful to deal with you when there are problems as your response is zero. You open but you dont close. And I hope that you really take comments of your customers seriously who had encountered problems with you so that others may not experience the same trouble as I had. I hope that it does not stop from a phone call from your side to elaborate and explain the problem. I hope you do something about it to resolve the issue.
I placed two orders on line and settled the amount by credit card, on September 18 and 20, order numbers are 20817606175970 and 20859010790011 respectively for Luxell built in hob LX 40 for LBP 167,000 each. The deliveries were supposed to be on September 24 and 27. After thorough follow up with your call center who kept apologizing for the delay of deliveries, and constant checking on the order status (out for delivery). I received a message from you on October 4 , that the orders have been cancelled because the material is out of stock. This is a false statement, as the add had been displaced for all the period that I was waiting for the items. I believe the orders had been cancelled due to changes in prices.
Carrefour is an international company represented in the Middle East by a very reliable partner, consequently they should honor their commitment, subsequently I expect to receive the items not a refund.
I would like to express my gratitude and a big thank to the management who trained their staff in a way and also the staff who adopted and demonstrated such an excellent behavior. Last Friday on 24th Sept. i came from Abu Dhabi to Dubai with family when around 12 O’clock mid night i reached at your store in Burjman Center when my eldest son was hungry and wanted to eat pizza only, i approached your store there and check with the security if they allow me to get inside and just pick one item “pizza” for my son who is feeling hungry, security refer me to the manager Mr. Mohamed, who, considering the situation not only allowed us to get inside but also accompanied us to that section of the store and then went further, he himself went inside and checked with the staff if there is any pizza available, luckily he got one then the story doesn’t ends here he went further more and make it warm by himself in the oven for us and at the end he didn’t allow us to pay for this, what a heart melting service i received. I must acknowledge and appreciate this act of kindness and such an extremely professional service.. Such employees are real asset for any organization.
Placed an order for a TV on Oct 3rd. They said it’ll be delivered by 7th. Today is the 9th and literally NO ONE in the contact center has any idea what happened to said TV.
Did the TV get diverted to Afghanistan? Is the manufacturer procuring the material from scratch to build a new TV just for me? Did the driver wander into the Bermuda Triangle? NO ONE KNOWS !!!!
In the meantime, Customer Services keeps escalating my complaint. It has been escalated 2x already. At this point of time, I’m calling to enquire how high can they escalate it. Probably will reach Alexander Bompards desk in 3,2,1…
I placed an order for 300aed on now delivery. I was told it would be delivered in 90 mins. 5 hours later I still haven’t heard anything. I needed items from that delivery tonight! I rang the customer contact number. He said he’ll raise a complaint and someone from the delivery team will call me. Has anyone rang me. No is there a number for them.. no. I am so livid right now it’s unbelievable. Absolutely shocking, the mkst terrible customer service ever!
I have a complaint about Carrefour Manar Mall Ras Al Khaimah.. I bought a Hitachi water dispenser two days ago and when we opened the carton, we discovered that it was previously used and inside we found the refrigerator repair bill because of the leakage malfunction..
I consider this a fraud, especially since the packaging indicates the condition of the factory..
Also last year I bought a camping tent and at home I discovered that the plastic ropes were all cut and had been used before..
I have now lost confidence in buying electronic and other devices, especially packaged and closed ones..
