I would like to thank the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered some parts that five days later still did not ship, Called customer service had parts my noon the next day.
The โcustomer serviceโ members are not friendly and tell you theyโre the highest ranking person you can speak with. I ordered upper control arms from them because I felt as if their expertise and commitment would be satisfactory. I was very wrong.
Once my mechanic could schedule our repairs (due to the current pandemic, schedules are a bit slower, so it was about a week after the upper control arms arrived) I took my suv and the parts to my mechanic, an hour later I get a text and a picture of the control arms that came off my suv and the ones I ordered from Carid on top of each other, they are completely different sizes (I ordered what matched my vehicle according to their website)!
I went on the website to do a simple exchange! Only to discover that their website is incorrect. When you go to do the exchange, it prompts for you to input the part number of the part you have and the part you would like to exchange. When I put in the part numbers they are identical, but one of them comes up for a vehicle that is 8 years newer & different make/model. I sent an email to advise of this & never got a response. I called the 800# and spoke to Vanessa, she advised that she would email a return label and that the part we need is out of stock. So we wanted to do a return to get our money back, so we could buy what need. A few days pass, no email. So we called again and spoke to (I believe her name) Stephanie. She told me that we were passed the 30 day return policy and โnothing she can doโ. When asked to speak with her supervisor, she responded โIโm the supervisor, Iโm the only one you can speak toโ. When I tried to explain to her that we have been dealing with this for a couple weeks, she told me that was not true. She refused to hear any reasoning and wouldnโt even transfer us to speak with Vanessa, the customer service rep who helped us days earlier.
I had to pay a mechanic to remove my old upper arms just to put them back on. I paid my mechanic to put on parts you sent for my vehicle, that donโt fit. Iโm out of pocket and I still donโt have a fixed vehicle.
