This morning I called to get a tow and I was refused because my car is vintage. I am in Quebec and the plates are the same as every other car on the street as well as insurance. The supervisor told me that it’s policy to not offer service to vintage cars because they are considered “recreation vehicles.” and not a daily driver. I did however get service for the same car back in 2018 without a hitch, no pun intended.
I am really disappointed in the way they suddenly decided to not honor their service. I read the exclusions and no where do it say that they don’t tow vintage cars. I even spoke to another rep and she told me that she has never heard that before and that she has offered service to people with vintage summer cars.
