About Burj Al Arab Jumeirah
Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is one of the tallest hotels in the world that was opened in the year 1999. Located in a man-made island close to the Jumeirah coast in Dubai, the hotel construction in 1994 involved 3000 companies and contractors, in addition to 250 designers from the UK, US and Dubai. The hotel, located 321 metres above sea level, has a helipad, cascade waterfall, fountain, three aquariums, world’s tallest atrium and over 28,000 light fixtures. World Travel Awards 2015 recognised the hotel as ‘Middle East’s Leading All Suite Hotel’.
Constructed at a cost of US $2 billion, Burj Al Arab has total 202 luxury duplexes. More precisely, there are 142 One Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 28 Two Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 18 Panoramic Suites, 4 Club Suites, 6 Diplomatic Suites, 2 Presidential Suites and 2 Royal Suites. All suites come with internet access, videos on demand and a 42 plasma television screen. The guests are also offered the 24-carat gold iPads upon check-in.
Burj Al Arab boasts one of the world’s largest fleet of Rolls Royces available for guests’ travels or transfers. Guests can also arrive in style by helicopter. The service is available for guests only. Other facilities include an open air swimming pool, private beach, water park, spa, amphitheatre, library and conference hall.
