Bunnings Bibra Lake ruined my week and my in store shopping at Bunnings. I was wrongly accused of stealing by a male and female apparently working at the Bibra Lake store. Firstly I was stopped at the garden centre check out and told to empty my pockets and was told I was being filmed. They said I had stolen something and it was in my back pocket. They did not show any id or any reason for me to believe they worked at Bunnings Bibra Lake. I lifted my shirt and emptied my pockets to show that they where wrong. During this time I was reminded that they where filming me and I had stolen something. After showing everyone that in fact my pockets were empty except my lighter they said I could leave. I shop a Bunnings regularly. I’m a boilermaker/welder. I’m always in there purchasing mainly tools. This experience completely ruined shopping at Bunnings for me.
Today we were at Bunnings Smithfield to purchase some shade cloth. We asked for some help to buy a large quantity of shade cloth. Two male staff were unable to help and wouldnโt go out of their way to assist us. After 15 minutes of getting nowhere with any information on the purchase, we ended up more confused than ever. The male staff member who was left to assist us was telling us all the wrong information..
Then along comes Julie from the Garden Centre! What an amazing member of your staff she is, not only did she have all the correct information but was so pleasant, conscientious and helpful. Julie you are an absolute legend and we thank you so much for your help. Bunnings is very lucky to have you on their staff.
Hi, Iโm leaving compliments for two different deliveries from Bunnings; today the guy is unloading 1000 stakes & safely putting them out of sight cos Iโm in isolation for Covid contacts. I told him to dump them on front lawn & Iโd move them when he was gone. I get here & he is navigating my driveway putting them out the back. Huge effort he deserves a medal for it. Itโs a pretty warm day & I canโt even give him a drink.
Secondly last week the truck driver couldnโt find my address at my new home. I found him & got him there & he put order in driveway. Crap phone service up there he did well to get message I was on the way. Covid isolation is interfering with me doing everything including put number on my driveway.
Congratulations guys. Awesome jobs. Hopefully Iโll get through this Covid crap & not be isolation every second week.
Bunnings Belconnen have the most useless unhelpful staff I have ever come across. In particular an older grey haired man who I approached for help to which he didnโt even respond, he had a grumpy look on his face and looked at me like I was absolute garbage – then proceeded to say he had no idea where things are and I said fine Iโll keep looking, but looked surprised that as staff he doesnโt know where anything is and didnโt even try to help. He then said angrily โdo you know there are many things are in this store we donโt know where everything is and walked off โ! As if to blame me! Um do I work there? If you canโt find anything how am I meant to?! I wonder if he would have behaved the same if I was a man or tradie! I thought that staff should at least know where some things are and if you canโt help at least have the courtesy to find someone who can and not just leave me stranded and walk away! Itโs unbelievable and Iโm fuming!! I would rather drive to another suburb than ever go to that store again. Nearly all staff there are extremely unhelpful and rude.
MARY employee at Bunnings warehouse Rockingham WA was the only person that came to help me with an item I was looking for.
She was in no rush and made sure I had the proper fittings before leaving me.
I hope she gets recognised for her wonderful service.
Attempted to make a purchase online of some gardening products. Entered contact details, chose delivery, entered card detailsโฆ spinning wheel for almost 4 minutes before returning me to the payment details
The amount had been deducted from my account but no confirmation was received either by web or r mail receipt.
I have spent a total of 6 hours and 30 mins on hold to the customer support line waiting to speak with someone and attempting to recover my funds. 3 days on and still nothing.
The funds have not been returned to my account and I canโt contact anyone to resolve it.
This must be the most appalling customer service I have experienced in my 63 years on the planet.
Maybe this post will generate an effort on the part of Bunnings to resolve this issue – i consider the conduct fraudulent and the support on offer as wholly unsatisfactory and ineffective.
I had this exact same situation occur yesterday and I am trying to contact Bunnings without luck. Have sent an email and no response as yet. How did you resolve the issue? I am out of pocket quite a significant amount.
As if moving house during Lockdown isnโt stressful enough, when deliveries donโt arrive itโs enough to tip you over the edge. Small things, maybe, but I have one opportunity, one day, with a permit to move house and my delivery didnโt arrive. The only option (thanks to a good return policy) seemed to be to re-buy the items on click and collect. Of course, they were out of stock at the five nearest stores, so I rang Notting Hill to make sure I could get what I needed there. I was lucky enough to get Tory on the phone. I explained the non-appearance of my order and she tried to follow up on it for me, even though it was not from her store. There seemed to be no way of telling when it might arrive. Any time after the permit day would be too late, anyway. So Tory checked their stock and did an over the phone click and collect order for me, and now I should have what I need. Small things, but wonderful commitment to customer service from Tory. Thank you.
Just as my panic set in when I realised I had lost my wallet in Bunnings Morayfield last with a bunch of cash, photos and cards in it Mel from gardening presents herself and says lost a wallet? Yes, here ya go, declined $20 I offered and wished me well. What a super star and credit to Bunnings!
In my experience with Bunnings over the last year about a defective flooring product (which they subsequently withdrew from sale due to known issues), any formal customer feedback or complaints regarding Bunnings is not dealt with in any coherent or timely manner. Whilst their staff seem courteous and concerned, in reality they provide no real assistance to resolve issues of substance. It is routine to wait weeks or MONTHS for any response, only to have to wait for them again if you respond back. Bunnings just shuffle you from department to department and back again and/or do not respond. Lodging a Formal Complaint is met with silence and no action.
In short, they have no complaints management procedures, nor any apparent intent to resolve complaints – only to procrastinate and delay them. It is exasperating and it all seems to be deliberate.
I would like to compliment Derek from Services desk at Cockburn Central, regarding my enquiry about hot water systems, installation, etc. He was very helpful and went to a fair bit of trouble to find the answers I needed, plus gave some extra good advice regarding installation.
I visited the Hoppers crossing Bunnings store on 24/4/21 and bought some white melamine which I needed to be cut to size. I was told by a young customer service assistant that it could not be cut today as the power saw area was closed for the day as a few staff had called in sick and no one else had the power saw cutting experience. I was referred to another customer service assistant by the name of Steve, I proceeded to explain the situation and Steve immediately said he could cut it for me and he proceeded to open the cutting machine area. His customer service skills were exceptional as he prepared to cut the melamine. Very professional and friendly service assistant, he was a great help to me and I would not hesitate to refer future customers to him.
