About Budgens
Budgens was founded by John Budgen in the year 1872. The leading UK-based supermarket chain is one of the oldest in the country and currently operates over 150 stores. In 2015, it became part of the Booker Group. From fresh vegetables, fruits to an impressive array of meat, you will find shopping with Budgens an enjoyable experience.
Budgens stores are locally owned by independent retailers. Click here to locate a store nearest to your address. High quality products are sold in Budgens own SuperValu brand. There are over 500 SuperValu products, from vegetables to household items. The fresh produce is claimed to be grown in Britain. Budgens stores offer over 2000 products including fresh meat and fish, bread and seasonal products. Budgens is often preferred for freshly baked breads and fresh meat range.
Independent retailers can partner with Budgens and see their business grow double fold. Budgens will provide retailers with tools and knowledge to run their store; provide a great range of products; and deliver stock up to 6 days per week. For more information or queries on store locations, refund, payment, complaints, or others, reach the Budgens customer service via phone or email.
Just visited budgets Wellington to send a parcel back to Amazon and needed to print a label for it. Had problems and was at a loss on what to do. A staff member called Tom spent time and patience to sort it. Anyone else would have told me to get back to Amazon to sort it but Tom didn’t. He went above my expectations and I would like him to be recognised for his amazing customer service. You have brilliant staff in Wellington. Many thanks Loraine
I went into the Budgens store in Swanage earlier this morning and was appalled to find there were no rules in place for safe distancing at all to protect customers and staff. It was impossible to stick to the government advice and observe the 2 metre rule.
I purchased mince pies from Budgens in Midhurst, I dont often shop there but as I was going to visit friends I thought a would take a little something. Thank goodness we did not eat them there and then because I got home and thought I would have one, IT WAS DISGUSTING, I had to phone the friends I had given them to and ask them not to eat them but just trow them away. I am sorry that I did not keep the box it went into the recycling bin and has now been taken by the bin men. I was embarrassed to think I had given friends these horrible things….I am sure you will hear from other customers who found them to be inedible.
Had reason to contact Budgens, Winklebury, Basingstoke after realising my purse had been stolen today. The Manager really couldn’t have cared less about the problem (didn’t even ask for my name/contact details, when I asked him to check the cctv when possible) What a reflection on Budgens. I have reported the theft to the police, who will be in touch with the store about the cctv footage, in case it shows anything.
