Most impressed with Jenny Ramsgate branch who went out of her way to help me find product I needed when I visited store last week – if you do a staff of the month or similar she deserves it for her excellent customer service
Visited the Ashford, Kent store this afternoon. We are a retired couple and my husband is disabled and uses crutches and a mobility scooter to get about. Very helpful young man helped us load the decorative stone clippings onto the flatbed trolley. Thank you, however was told by a lady at the checkout told us no one could help us put them into the car boot because of your โCovid Rulesโ. There seems to be some contradictions here, especially after reading some of the above recent comment about being helped by staff in other stores. Helping put shopping in the car does not seem to be an issue with other stores we have visited. Thankfully a member of the public had overheard the remark and came over to help in the car park.
Today 6th April on a very cold day I visited B& Q at Derriford Plymouth to buy stone chipping for my paths at my allotment. A man called EWAN helped me and loaded the stones onto a trolley they were far to heavy for me to do this. He then pushed the trolley to the payment desk and then said he would put them in my car. I was very grateful for his help and would like to say a big thank you to him. He is an asset to your Company and a valued employee. I hope this message is fed back to him.
Iโm appalled at Watford observer putting bad comments on your store , my experience visiting your store was 100%perfect , your que system was the best safe experience Iโve had since the lockdown living in Watford … all your staff were truly amazing and polite from making sure the trolly I needed was sanitized to the guidance of arrows of ailes , Watford observer should be ashamed for the negativity they have gave your store , I as a satisfied customer praise the manager and staff for allowing me to feel safe coming to your store , Thankyou b&q and all staff at your Watford store
Today we came in to the Hinckley store to enquire about a certain table lamp, we had the good fortune to be offered help by a young man called Aidan. He went above and beyond to help us . Even though our first choice was not available in the colour we required, he searched the computer & found us a very nice lamp that was. Thanks to his help we have placed an order for three of them at ยฃ120.00 in total. This young man is a credit to your company & made our shopping experience a good one. We are both delighted with the customer service that we were given. Thank you. Robert Mcculloch.
Tried buying door handles today, the cashier noticed I had one odd one, i waited for 10 minutes before any staff came to her call. Eventually someone came I explained I really needed 4/6 but only 3 on shelf. The young man went to look for more, came back stating the computer shows 10 in stock but there were only the three I had left. I asked if they could order 3 more but they couldn’t as there were already 10 showing in stock. I was in a hurry and became quite frustrated. I asked if someone could show me similar that were in stock. Again no one came to customer serves when called. In the end I found some myself, this was embarasing for the customer service lady and time consuming and poor service for me, I was spending over a hundred pounds.
The service provided by B and Q was appalling. The driver stated that he was unable to deliver the product even though I was in the house all day from 06:45 until 7.30pm when I phoned B and Q to see when my products were gong to be delivered. The driver could not have knocked the door. In addition when I attempted to speak to someone about my annoyance that the cupboard doors were not delivered the customer services manager, who I was informed would come and speak to me, kept me waiting for 30 minutes when I gave up waiting and hung up. Customer service is obviously not important at B and Q.
