About BitTorrent
BitTorrent is a leading client program for peer-to-peer file sharing. Developed by Bram Cohen, the software was first launched in 2001 and currently boasts of more than 170 million users. BitTorrent’s website states its “mission is to build a better Internet and to “work with people, industries and nations to create better ways to move information”. With the BitTorrent program, users can download and share large file and enjoy fast speeds.
The software is available for Windows, Mac and Android. It is free for download. You can upgrade to BitTorrent Pro to enjoy the program ad-free and to defend your PC against viruses. As for the tech, with BitTorrent large files are boken down into small pieces and the files are downloaded part by part. Users can download as many softwares and content they need. Additionally, the software auto-adjusts bandwidth usage based on a user’s network.
To begin a download, users need to first search and download the torrent file (.torrent extension). You can open the torrent file and then track the status of the download. If the file has more seeders, the download will be swifter. For more information or queries on upgrade, payment, cancellation, refund, or others, reach the BitTorrent customer service.
Bittorrent is a CRAP company. I have made 5 attempts to get my issue resolved and you don’t even acknowledge the fact that I have tried to contact you. I will be more than happy to smear your name all over Facebook and Twitter to let as many people as I possibly can as to the customer service you DON’T give.
