Avelo Airlines is a low cost American airline operating from its headquarters at Houston, Texas. With a fleet of 8 aircraft, Avelo flies to about 30 destinations, mostly on the east coast and west coast routes. Avelo’s current destinations include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and Washington. Fliers can book a flight using the search tool available on the website. You can book a one-way or round-trip by simply inputting the origin, destination and dates. Along with flights, you can also book a hotel or cab. For those that require wheelchair assistance or have special requests, you will be able to specify same during the booking. If you have an existing booking, you can change or cancel reservation through the reference number online. Note that fliers can change or cancel their reservation 15 minutes before scheduled departure time. And if your flight costs more than the original trip, you simply have to pay the difference in fare. If your ticket is cancelled within 24 hours of purchase and before seven days of departure, you can get the refund back in the original form of payment. For the rest, it may be in the form of Avelo Travel Funds which can be redeemed for future Avelo flights.

The online check-in facility might not be available for all flights. It is however good to check if your reservation is eligible for same. Coming to baggage, Avelo allows fliers to carry one carry-on and one free personal item that can be stowed under a seat. The carry-on bag cannot weigh more than 15kg. As for checked baggage, you can carry upto 3 bags. The checked bag cannot weigh more than 22kg. Note the list of restricted items and bag dimensions for a hassle free travel.
