Hello,
Just wanted to know if I can order a car having specifications different from those of the country I am residing in. i.e. residing in Romania and ordering a car suitable for north African countries (as the local north African countries don’t supply such a brand). Thanks
To whom it may concern,
I bought my Audi A3 in 2014 and for the first two years it was working great, no complaints whatsoever. However, ever since September 2016 there have been issues with my car that Iโm not sure are ever going to get fixed, due to the extreme incompetence of the Audi car dealer in Egypt โEgyptian Automotive & Trading Companyโ.
Iโm writing you this complaint to let you know that I will never buy an Audi again, and not because it is a bad car, but because of everything that happened while trying to repair the car. I will never recommend Audi to anyone ever again, on the contrary I will steer them away from make the bad decision I have made. Not only are they unable to fix the car, but they are doing everything they can to spend the least amount of money possible, thus causing the car to break down every time it returns to me. I have lost faith in the car and feel unsafe not knowing when it will break down again, just because the dealer never really fixes it right. They are untrustworthy, understaffed and also sometimes rude.
Here is a summary of what my car and I went through during the past 7 months:
– 23/9/2016 — My car broke down so I took it to the Kattameya branch and they asked us to change the gas mechanical pump (they first said they will do it as a Goodwill, but then we ended up paying for it).
– January โ Car broke down again with the message โGearbox malfunctionโ we sent it to the Abou Rawash branch and at first they told us to change the a part of the gearboxx and then changed their minds and told us we needed to fix the part which controls the gearbox, which we did.
– January, one week later, the car broke down AGAIN, we sent it back to them for two weeks and they said they needed to upgrade the software, which they did.
– February three weeks later, the car broke down for the third time. This time they promised that it will be the last time and that they will find out what is actually wrong with it and fix it. I told them to keep the car for as long as they needed, the important thing is that once we receive it, it would work perfectly. It stayed with them for two months and they changed to control unit.
– April 12th โ They sent us to go pick up the car after two months at the dealer and then on the way home it broke down for the fourth time, although we asked them to try it out for as much as they needed first.
– I would also like to note that we asked them to change the front windshield and they broke a part of it and didnโt even let us know. Thank god we noticed on our own and when we told them you broke it fix it, they refused at the beginning and then said okay when we pressured them
– On top of all that, Karim Salah & Alaa the service manager were also extremely rude, instead of being apologetic.
In conclusion, the car is now at the dealer again. I have no idea how long it is going to stay there or if they will ever really fix it, but as soon as it is, I will sell it and buy another car that is NOT AUDI, because I will never trust this car or the dealer again. The Car dealer โEgyptian Automotive & Trading Companyโ is probably the worst car dealer in Egypt, in fact every time I go, I see so many people displeased with the service they are getting. So a piece of advice, in order for Audi to succeed in the Egyptian market, I urge you to change dealers, for you to ensure the best service and comfort you can to your customers.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I am an Audi owner in Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean).
My Audi A4, bought in 2013 started to malfunction only after approximately one year of purchase brand new.
Within two months (after owning it only one year), the car had to undergo emergency servicing six times for an electrical problem. Very distraught, I returned the car and the local Audi distributor, Southern Sales Group of Companies, located in Trinidad, gave me a courtesy car to use. This company and I began negotiations to settle the matter out of the legal system. There were only two meetings held by the Director of Southern Sales. Mr. R. Ahamad during this time; both had to be initiated by my lawyer.
It has been over two years since Mr. R. Ahamad and his team have had my car, and there has been no final settlement of the matter. In March, 2017 I returned the courtesy car to Southern Sales, as a final attempt to get a follow up meeting with Mr. Reyaz Ahamad since last year (2016). Note during the two weeks subsequent to returning the courtesy car I have had to:
โขtake a bus to work (for I have no car)
โขcontinue to pay a loan for a car I do not possess
โขincur loss of income due to difficulty in getting to work
This matter is no longer one of a defective car, it has now become one where Southern Sales, and the Audi brand is now causing severe disruption to my life; incurring loss of money, but also a loss of personal safety (when I have to travel).
I have given Mr. Reyaz Ahamad and Southern Sales till the 3rd April, 2017 before I approach more legal channels with my grievance.
I welcome any feedback you have to offer on this matter on or before the 3rd April, 2017, for I am sure the Audi brand, known worldwide for its high quality, would not like its brand being in disrepute.
I am writing this complain against your dealer in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. I have bought a car from the dealer in 2013 and was told the car is under full warranty and services up to 105,000km or 5 years. I have asked the salesperson clearly about the maintenance and what is includes and he assured me it includes everything “bumper to bumper” as per his quote. I took my car to the scheduled service at 75000km and was told that break pads and battery replacement not under the service contract and will have to pay for them. I have been chasing their manager for few days to resolve this issue with no luck until now. This is an absolute rip off and a disgrace for a company like Audi. I would have not bought this car should I know that the salesperson was lying to me to get his commission.
Dead bug in speedometer cluster
I am the owner of TWO Audis. Both are 2015 models. One is a Q5 for which I paid R650000 and the other is an A4 for which i Paid R350000 (One million rand in total). These are also Audis No 9 and No 10 on the list of Audis that I owned. I think I can been seen as a loyal customer. I also had 8 VW’s before. I realy love the brand and the cars, BUT the after sales service a suppose to be PREMIUM brand like Audi SUCKS. Yes, the after service calls are there but when you really expect something out of the box, you will be disapointed.
My A4 is just over 18 months old and has 32000km on the speedo. and there is a DEAD BUG in the speedo cluster. I took it to Audi Centre Somerset West and they referred it to their Audi SA contact which is not willing to be in contact with the client. He just said that a dead bug in the speedo is not part of their warranty exposure, they are not going to address the issue. I must live with it.
Vorsprung NOT durch Bedienung in RSA
I also had 7 Mercedes Benz vehicles and although my opinion is that Audi build better cars, Mercedes know how to treat their customers (brand ambassadors) and respect and protect their brand.
I Chandan Hazari have bought a new Audi A6 35TDI from Audi Thane in Mumbai.
Before you read My mail, Please refer to the Mail written by your Team at Thane.(I am replying to the mail)
I own a BMW 520d and a Mercedes E class as well but have never received such a pathetic service from any of them like Audi.
Firstly, I was hesitant to buy and Audi because of numerous after sales issues addressed by quite a few friends in my circle. But due to excellent Sales service I was convinced to buy the Audi A6.
It’s now not even 6 months ever since I have bought this car and the interiors of the car started showing black spots which I am assuming is the poor leather quality on the car. I addressed the same to the workshop at Thane. Firstly I was accused that they were oil stains on the car. You would I carry oil in my car???
Then after diagnosis they said it’s are reaction of the cleaning material used to clean the car, which I was amazed to read in the mail below.
Just to clarify I have not used any third party or any cleaning material to clean the car, as my car is always serviced and cleaned at Authorized service centers only as I buy extended warranties/ service package on all my cars to stay carefree on all my after sales issues.
I have never come with same issues in my BMW nor Mercedes-Benz.
This has made my thoughts clear that Audi Is nothing but just as Glorified Volkswagen in terms of product and after sales.
I would like you to please look in into this issue and get things sorted instead putting allegation on the way I maintain my cars.
I have attached the snapshots of the late interiors for your reference, which I again request you to see properly
Hope to hear from you soon

To whom it may concern,
I own a 2011 Q5. In August 2014 the car was shivering and Audi Kuwait(Alghanim) told me that the problem is from the engine and that they will fix it on their expense and give me a 2 year warranty which should end July 2016.
The same problem kept coming back on several occasions and my records show NOV2015,MAY2016,AUG2016 and SEPT2016.Each time I take it in to Audi Kuwait service center they keep it for a long time and give me lousy excuses such as it needs service or the coolant level is insufficient. The last time I took it in in SEPT2016 they told me that the engine problem is back and that the 2 year warranty is over. It seems like Audi Kuwait are intentionally not fixing the cars until the warranty is over to make us pay big amounts of money, knowing that in July 2016 I have paid 630 KD for service telling me that this is all what it needs.
This is not acceptable especially from a name like Audi. Audi Kuwait is now asking for more that 600kd just to tell me what is wrong with the car not for resolving the issue. What is happening is not fair knowing that from May 2016 until today the car has moved approx. 3000km only and the total mileage is approx. 52,000.
I have contacted Audi Middle East and I did not get any reply for more than 2 weeks now. Please do the necessary to resolve this issue.
Regards,
I have been lied to by Audi Bedford in Ohio, U.S for over a year now. Besides them charging me for something I DIDN’T ASK TO BE DONE TO MY CAR. On the invoice it says customer requested 4 wheel alignment, I never requested that, my car tracked perfect, with only 19000 miles. Who the hell requests something like that in the first place. Charged me $129.00 for something I didn’t want, PISSED OFF! Stinking underhanded dealership. My Audi A5 had the oil consumption fix at this dealer,( new pistons and rings) My car has not run right since. The car hesitates, then bogs down when I accelerate from a stop. This car used to easily spin the front drive tires, now I can stomp the pedal all the way to the floor and the car will not spin the tires, it hesitates then goes Baaaaaaa!, THE CAR HAS NO POWER! And the idle is so bad the car shakes. I have taken it back to this dealer several times only to be lied to. They did something wrong when they did the piston job, which was done under warranty. Now that its going to cost them money out of their pocket, to fix their mistake, they keep telling me the car runs the way its supposed to. They told me its a Techtronic transmission, and it doesn’t let the car spin the tires. Everybody out there that has an Audi with the 2.0T engine, knows this engine easily spins the tires! Then I Met with Audi Rep from Audi of America, only to be told the same lies, that I was told by the idiot in the service department. As I drove them around to show him how bad this car ran, They used a con man game, the subject went from the engine not running right, to there’s nothing wrong with your transmission, it’s shifting the way it’s supposed to. I never said the transmission was bad. This was about the engine not the transmission, he twisted it around, and said he doesn’t see that I have a complaint, there’s nothing wrong with the transmission. I got into an argument with him, told him he was lying to me, that this transmission doesn’t let the tire spin loose, because I have a Jetta with the same trans, and it spins the tire. He said no you don’t understand this is a cvt trans, and it working the way its supposed to. I told him I am not stupid, and your an Assh##e. And your not for the consumer, your for the dealer, he said I am for the consumer, I told him he was a Farce,( A fake consumer representative). And about a mile from the dealership told him, and the service manager, to get out of my car, they got out and I DROVE AWAY. Before this, This guy told me, if you push the button and the car starts, and runs, it’s running right, Fantastic Thinking, for Audi’s benefit. I WILL NEVER BUY AN AUDI AGAIN!
Good day,
I’m sending you this email concerning AUDI Egypt!
My car is AUDI A3 model 2012
114,000 km.
I bought it June, 2012.
In MAY 7, 2016 it stopped and AUDI service told me you have to change something in the gear box which is called mecatronics for 48,000 EGY pounds
I told them that why would I handle something like this? they said you are out of the warranty but we will send to AUDI Germany and will revert back.
After a while cause the car stayed at their side for 45 days they told me they internally will handle 70% and I pay the rest 30% with is 16,500 EGP pounds as Germany didnโt agree.
when I asked them to send a copy of the email that AUDI Germany said so they refused!
I told them I canโt handle something I’m not responsible for.
Actually I had an issue with the clutches and I said I would pay this as this is from my use but mecatronics thatโs something in the car.
Finally after lots of arguments and discussions of wasting my time with them I paid nothing.
I actually paid 7000 EGY pounds for the clutches and maintenance.
My question is how and why would they do something like this? like seriously thatโs a big issue we are facing.
My concern is how many times they have fooled a client for paying that much money on something the client thought itโs his responsibility?? Arenโt they are Supposed to comfort us or be helpful?? That’s exhausting taking our energy just for them.
AUDI Egypt has gotten worse I’ll be having issues dealing and trusting them with I canโt believe it.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and please help me figure out how to deal with this issue.
I bought a Q7 2014. WAUAMD4L0ED030794.After getting it back from a routine service it started leaking oil . Took it back on May 9th ,2016 (stayed in shop 22 days: took down the transmission ) then again on May 30, 2016. Once
More in between and the fourth time it has been in the shop since June 21 with no diagnosis This is not what I thought was paying tons of money for: crappy quality.
No one has contacted me with a solution. I have to be checking in to get an update: they don’t know what is wrong. Manager says he is in contact with the plant and change parts that engineers tell them to but nothing has worked.
I paid for a reliable lasting German vehicle but seems that they sold me a pirate version.
Will AUDI Get me a new one or what are you going to do about it? Please help! I am very worried and desperate !
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to place an official complaint regarding an Audi Q 7 vehicle that I have purchased less than two months ago in Romania from your dealership- Cybernet Auto Centre in Bacau.
I have always been keen on driving vehicles manufactured by your brand, and I’ve always been completely satisfied by your previous models (Audi A 6 and A 8), hence I considered your brand to be reliable and trustworthy.
One would never expect to experience such issues when purchasing a luxury class vehicle from such a prestigious brand, yet there’s always a first time.
I am extremely dissapointed at finding that a newly bought vehicle can be serviced for more than eight times in a month.
Not only that the issues weren’t fixed, but I was never provided an accurate diagnosis for the several malfunctionings that the vehicle has experienced.
An important aspect to be mentioned is that I have waited for two months for the vehicle to be delivered as I requested for it to be equipped and enhanced with several special features, thus its price raised to 83 000, but when I finally received it turn out to be fail my expectations as so far I underwent a period of turmoil due to the several service visits.
I consider it to be unacceptable to deal with such issues, not only for the money that I have to pay – adding interests (there a lease contract), but also because my business has suffered great losses during the past two months, since we were unable to perform our commercial activities.
I have filed an official complaint to your head office, and I am yet to receive an official reply.
Please take into consideration that it is not my intention to prejudice the image of your company, but unless an amiable solution is provided, I am ready to take all legal measures in accordance to E.U.regulations, in order to receive either a refund or a suitable replacement.
In July this year I bought an Audi A3 Ambiente (Premium Plus) Sedan model 2015, brand new from an Audi agency in the city of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It costs $ 422,000 pesos. (about $ 29,000 dollars) After a great effort and the possibility of buy a “premium” car I made the full payment, after that, the unit took a month to arrive.
At the begining all went well, the car stays most of the time at my garage and It made daily routes of about 13 miles. After one month of use, with about 400 miles, It began to feel strange, suddenly stopped and then accelerates too much until the first gear lever. I took the car to the agency and they made some tests, scannings and nothing happened. Then the problem was more evident, I returned to the the agency and after a week they told me “it’s because of the way you drive the car” which was complete false.
Finally after 2 months and 1,200 milles the car completely failed, it shows the witnesses engine light, air bags and gear, and also showed a warning sign saying: “total failure, park your vehicle and call for assistance”, I bring it to the agency where I was told that the problem was probably a sensor failure, the computer was reset and everything came to normal. On the third day after that the car showed once again the failure and more severe, now the car no longer accelerated and the transmission failed, the breaks stopped working and most of the witnesses were showed (Airbag, engine, etc).
It took 2 weeks since the car re-enter to the agency expecting some new result. I got in touch with Audi of Mexico they said “it is a line to the engine”. My biggest concern is the safety of the car, because it puts in danger my family and myself, and secondly How a luxury car of that value presents failures after only 1,000 miles. Today, I claim the complete replacement of the vehicle, It puts in danger my life and my family and of course It will present the failure again because its brand new !.
The Audi contact call me and with a laugh of me said “imagine if we change all the cars who present failures” I agree with failure in cars with 20,000 miles, but 1,000? and a car of this price and prestige is something unacceptable.
I feel terrible for bought an Audi, I had other options but I found a good brand as Seat and Volkswagen had all my life and never failed. At November 17 my car is in the agency, the brand insists replace various engine components risking my life and of course the loss of my money. Im sorry for mi spelling, but I am from Mexico Im trying to spread this problem searching for help.

My 2011 Audi A3 has been in the workshop on 6 occasions for repairs to the gearbox for a grinding noise. The dealership( Claremont South Africa) has failed to resolve the issue which they claim are ”comfort noises”They never disclosed at the delivery of the vehicle that one will encounter this at 45km which is the speedo reading.Although the vehicle is still in the warranty period my request to replace the gearbox has been declined. All efforts to contact them have fallen on deaf ears. They do not reply to email or return calls. Correspondence to the Head of Audi South Africa (Pug Roux) have also not been replied to.
Could you please advise why Audi are not honoring the warranty agreement and fix my car.
I have a 2008 A3 Audi (2.0 OT FSI 3P S TRONIC ) with 70.000 KM and I have done the 7 corresponding services on the official Audi dealer where I have bought my car.
On MAY 28 (5 MONTH AGO) I took my car to the official Audi dealer (Juan Martin Vidal is the manager) to get one door painted. Since that day the nightmare has begun…
The job was supposed to be finished in3 working-daysโฆAfter some days without any news, I have contected them and they told me that the car stopped turning on after wash.
The first explanation given by Audi Argentina was that there had been an issue with the head gasket. Then, that the problem was on the timing belt / timing tensioner. After a month when they were about to give me the car, they told me that something new was happening. The car started loosing oil…
I donโt know how many times they took the engine away, disable and reassemble itโฆ.
After a few more weeksโฆ they told me that they did not know what else to do. The engine stopped working once again, and they were not able to turn the car/engine on again…
More weeks passed, and they finally told me that they had to tunne the engine up, and the car started working again.
4 month have passed now and on September 27th, after a long wait, they finally gave me the car…
Unfortunately, I was able to use it for 2 days ONLY… I had to give it back because there was an issue with one injector.
Some weeks later, they give me the car… But once again… I was only able to use it for 3 days this time. A yellow light turned on…This time, they have told me that that it is another injector that is having problems…
This is a brief of what have been happening to me in the past 5 month…
As you can understand, I am not only disappointed… I am hopeless. I donโt know what else to do…
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Recently, I have encountered an issue with Audi’s branch in Al Katameya – Cairo, Egypt as I wanted to purchase a Q3 car from the branch that had 18” rims and I have requested the car on the end of June. However, the branch sold me the car on September with 17” rims and when I tried to complain to the manager he claimed that the Salesman told me that the car came along with 17” rims only which isn’t true as the other car with the 18” rims was already sold few days later to another customer. Furthermore, I tried to pay extra money in order to get the 18” rims but they refused and forced me to receive the car by claiming that if I didn’t receive it soon it will be sold out. Moreover, when I received the car they have sent it without papers and I received the papers after 35 days with wrong motor numbers which made me wait until now without the car papers. I tried recontacting the Salesman here and he answered my request with a totally inappropriate way even when I told him that I will complain to the Main Audi center he answered that no one will help me with my issue and he kept calling me a liar and he never said that it will be shipped along with 18” wheels even though he was the one who made me purchase the car as he promised me to solve my issue as soon as I purchase the car because if I didn’t purchase it soon it will be out of stocks. At the end, All I wanted was my Q3 car with 18” wheels and the correct papers as I work in another city and I have to go to my workplace by bus until now which I don’t find it fair as I expected better service from a well-known brand like Audi and to be honest I was planning to buy a BMW car in the first place and now I regret it as I believe BMW wouldn’t have done the same thing to their customers. In fact, I don’t care about the car anymore all I want is what I requested in the first place “my Q3 car with 18” rims” and I didn’t want to take that issue to the local newspaper and media “which wouldn’t be an obstacle for me” and preferred to contact you in the first place in order to see if you are going to help me out. Thanks in advance and waiting for your reply as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Hazzem M. Ali
Very, very poor service by audi West London. They damaged my car deliberately and when I confronted them with questions they could not answer they said I was aggressive and one point the alleged master tech through a component belonging to the car to show his frustration at being caught out. Above all everybody was lying, covering up and extremely rude.
Never buy an audi again as this is day light robbery.
Annoyed customer
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to place an official complaint about the after sales service for Audi Jordan. One would expect a fist class service when one buys such a prestigious car as Audi, but unfortunately your dealer in Amman Jordan has put the reputation of this elite company to shame. I am extremely disappointed at the services they provide for their customers. To start with, the spare parts are never available which puts the person in a total stress in how this car is ever going to be repaired. Another issue with your dealer in Amman is that they have discrimination. They do not treat their customers equally. I personally had a very bad and stressful experience with them. My car was hit and needed repair, when I approached the dealer, their answer was the spare parts are not available and need to be ordered to which I agreed and the car has to stay there since it is in no shape to be on the roads. However, one would expect from such a prestigious company to provide me
With a car since I am a pilot and I need a transport to get to the airport. But of course they did not provide me with a car on the pretense that there are no cars available and there won’t be for some time. To my dismay I happened to meet a person with the same situation and she told me that they provided her with a replacement car.on the other hand, my brother who has a BMW, has a different treatment from the BMW company
Just to let you know I possess an Audi black edition. I just want to inform you that if your dealer resumes treating the customers in such way and provide bad service. This could seriously harm the reputation of this lovely car.
I would appreciate it very much if you take serious measures against your agent in Jordan before they destroy the reputation of your company.
Sincerely Yours
Taymour Al-Manaseer.
Dear sir ,
1.
2. I purchased Audi A5 2.0T 2011 ,my car Km is 28,000Km , under the name of malika tarek Mohamed magdy in Egypt , the car consumes 1lt of oil every 1000km. the dealer will do a consumption test and will advise me within 7 days . This problem is widespread in this model and is an engine defect which is not normal. I would expect for Audi to take responsibility of the engine defect and either have the vehicle replaced or take any action which suites me, Iโm frustrated that my car is almost brand new and this happened to it , I drive this car only once every week and I have other car which from the same company Jetta 2014. Selling a brand new vehicle and have a known engine defect contravenes consumer affairs legislation. Look forward to have a positive reply from Audi Germany.
Dear Customer First,
I am owning Audi โ 4 bearing registration no. DL โ 3CBT โ 3456 through my company M/s Teesta Urja Limited. The vehicle was purchased in end 2011 and three year old model so to say. It is nightmarish experience we are undergoing in this vehicle for the past one month or so.
The history goes like this. This vehicle from inception was giving problem in oil consumption and consuming heavy oil (say less than 800 km for one change, which is costing Rs. 1200 per change) during its warranty period itself. The Service agency (Audi โ Gurgaon) could not find out the real reason for such faulty arrangement and had been giving excuses, such as the car requires to run on the road for more amount of kms to get the โengine settledโ for less oil consumption, attended to the problem in this service and would be ok by next service, etc. etc.. By the time the warranty expired in two years, this problem of oil excess consumption never solved and the same was got recorded in Oct 2014 service records. Subsequently the consumption of oil further increased (say less than 500 km for one change) and while we took up the issue in December 2014, Audi Gurgaon service agency tried to shortchange us stating that the warranty is expired and we have to pay full cost of repair/replacement. Luckily the records we kept with us saved the day. It was proved beyond doubt based on the records that this problem was there from the day one and it is undoubtedly manufacturing defect. Accordingly, Audi repaired /replaced the oil system (that too charging part of repair costs from us), but of course with vehicle stranded in the workshop for more than 15 days. We had to hire alternative vehicle during this period with heavy costs to the company. At the time of delivery, on 2nd January 2015 after 15 days of detention for repairing at the workshop, the Audi workshop has commented that this vehicle has become almost new vehicle as all parts have been checked and verified during the process of oil system change!
The other part of nightmarish experience started thereafter once we received the vehicle after so called โturning the car into almost new carโ. Within three days service, the vehicle almost ran into serious accidents as it was pulling towards left with heavy jerks and my experienced driver could only save the day for us from accidents on few occasions in two days (as one tend to disbelieve that car having gone through such serious overhaul in an authorized dealership like Audi (a German product) will create problem so soon. (an analogy to be quoted for this is like after your โmaster health check upโ and with positive results, you experience massive heart attack, and you tend to pass it off as heartburn. In real life it happened to my friend and he refused to be taken to hospital for two to three hours after experiencing heart attack as only two days before he had carried out the medical check-up).
I immediately phoned up the regional office (one Pooja, who is helpful always) and the vehicle was taken into same workshop againโฆ that is the patient is having another serious heart attack.. Initially they came out with the estimate of Rs. 3 lacs plus. We were aghast with such malfunctioning in such a short span of three days and from this one could only conclude that the parts from our car has been taken out / stolen and used in other cars which came for repairing at your workshop in connivance with your staff/workers in the shop floor. We are out of vehicle for almost 25 days in the last 30 days, and nowhere in sight when our vehicle will be given. One wonders whether Auid is making car or toy cars which goes out of order so soon and so often.
Thorough this mail we reserve our right to claim damages from Audi not only for the repair costs but also vehicle hiring costs which we undertaken during the period when this car was detained in your workshop and damages for mental trauma which we are undergoing due to poor / no-response attitude from Audi.
I expect a genuine case study in this case by so-called world class car manufacturing company, namely Audi and prompt response for resolving the issues concerning my vehicle.
Thanks & regards,
V.Vasu

I recently bought an 05 model A4 and could not believe the amount of problems it had. These problems were not caused by the age of the car but because of extremely bad engineering. I was told that those model cars should have been recalled by Audi to fix but Audi don’t do that. I had to replace a rubber hose on the turbo which cost me 225 euro, that price is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves for charging extortionate rates like that. It was a rubber hose for god’s sake and it show’s that Audi are a company of thieves.I will never buy an Audi again and I will be advising others not to purchase them either.Your company is a Disgrace.

I have recently bought a new Audi Q7 from the dealer in Lithuania, Moller Auto. After one week, 420 km on odometer, I have noticed strange vibration and sound coming from driveshaft while driving. My car has already been to service center two times and so far no solution was found for this problem becouse lithuanian audi center are waiting fore audi factory answer. I find this situation unacceptable and in my opinion, the level of price does not correspond to the level of quality and servicing of my car.

To whom it may concern,
I really hope you can help us since no one in my country has been able to provide me with what i believe should be professional customer service specially having high expectations from a company such as Audi and after the awful experience we have lived so far.
Let me tell you our story, i will try to be specific but short:
My wife bought herself an Audi Q3 at the only dealership available in Cancun, Mexico, it was a semi new model (2013) with only 6000 kms, its serial number is WAUDFA8DR092132, on July 18th 2014 she paid a deposit of $30,000 pesos, then after $345,000 pesos cash and a last payment of $15,000 pesos, making a total of $390,000 pesos.
I made the final payment of $15,000 pesos myself on July 12th 2014, i was told by the manager that i would get the invoice and the 2nd car key soon because the original owner still had them, was given nothing but the car, told not to worry.
When the car was shown to us the first time, the sales agent told us this car belonged to a relative of the manager and decided to change it soon after, thats why it only had 6000 kms, the car seemed in perfect condition. After we bought it my wife contacted the sales agent asking for the invoice and car key and he replied he didnt have it yet but would let us know, this was weeks after we took the car.
After almost a month passed and the car had barely reached 10,000 kms it started to feel strange, didnt do its change of gear correctly and eventually break down, my wife drives roads to work every day, we decided to buy Audi due to its safety and relativity, well the car had a problem with the transmission, it was in the Audi dealer for over a week, then returned to us saying it was fixed and like new…. only to break down again and now its been in the dealership for almost 3 weeks and we are being told it will take another week or so to fix.
Now this is not the worst part although we are very upset about the car not working properly but here comes my main complaint.
After a month of not hearing from Audi about our invoice and car key copy my wife went down to talk to them, and the manager told her repeatedly that they gave me the invoice when i paid the 15,000 and that i had lost it, they told her she would have to file a stolen report with the proper authorities, when she asked about the problem with the car she was told “ask your husband to explain it to you”……my wife is a professional graduate, she is sales director for Cirque du Soleil and she did not take this lightly, and i completely agree with her its not right to say that specially when she is the one buying the car in cash!!
The sales agent who sold us the car sent us a msg via whatssap after a week i paid and got the car, it said he still didnt have the documents but will let us know, he got fired afterwards, we have all this on Whatssap and after showing them they finally admitted they “misplaced” the invoice and they had it all along (i never got an apology for calling me a liar about loosing the documents), they gave us the invoice and the 2nd car key.
Since then we feel that the Audi dealership do not care about our experience, since they got our money there has been no apologies for the experience or the mechanical breakdowns, all we are being told its next week, next week!
They did offer us a full year warranty on the car but the manager gives us a feeling he doesnt care if the car spends the full year in the shop, all thay cared is getting our money and thats not the Audi experience we were looking for.
Let me explain a couple of points on this:
1. This is the only Audi dealership in Cancun, we have to deal with these people when ever we need their service like it or not.
2. Cars are incredibly expensive in Mexico and Audi is a luxury, we are not rich and it was a very big expense so not the experience expected.
3. We have wrote and spoke with Audi Mexico only to be told we have to deal with it and do not offer any help or options or even a written apology (unfortunately thats Mexico but that doesn’t mean Audi should lower its standards on quality and customer service).
I went back to speak with the manager a week ago and told him this hole experience has been completely opposite of what we expected, i am almost sure they knew there was something wrong with this car, even the best products will sometimes have their glitches and we got the bad apple here, if we were paying peanuts i wold not mind, but we paid a lot of money for it, we are not rich and took a huge decision on purchasing this car cash, we are now spending a lot of money on transportation because our new Audi doesn’t work.
By the way the reply i got from the manager is that theres nothing Audi can do, but have my car in the shop till its fixed, asked him what if we request it to Audi in Germany and he said “maybe a new car” and i quote…im not the liar he is
We are not looking for a new car, we want our money back, i have made this clear to your customer service representative in Mexico but they give us no options on this matter and i dont think its right!
Again i apologize for the inconvenience in this matter but i hope you can turn it to the proper department and do something about it!
Please help us or tell us who i can follow up this matter with, i also hope you understand my disappointment and anger i dont mean any disrespect but a request of help and closure.
Thank you for your reply.
kind regards,
Eric Fontaine Gadsky
I have Audi A6 model 2012 (68,000 Km), the car still under warranty and it has been sent regularly to Audi service, yesterday in the middle of the night while I was driving the car it started to shake and stopped in the middle of the road , then it gives me a gearbox alarm and it did not move at all.
I sent couple of tweets to Audi on Twitter and then I received a message back requesting the following to be sent on customer care email address;
– Chassis No. WAUBHC4G7CN025010
– Engine No. CHV 006704
– Mobile No. +971551042116
I managed to deliver the car yesterday night to Audi maintenance located in Sheikh Zayed road via Gulf Assistance (Approved road assistance company by Audi UAE) ; however since itโs a weekend in Dubai there is no one there follow up with and key was left with the security.
As a matter of fact Iโm very disappointed & upset from what happened to me yesterday and to risk my family, also to see my almost new Audi lifted on a service road car even if it is still under warranty.
The reason I bought Audi is safety for my family and I, also to avoid this kind of surprises & problems, but what happened to me & my family was very dangerous and made me feel insecure & disappointed.
I purchased Audi A4 wagon 2010, and generally have loved the car. However ever since the purchase the car consumes 1.5lt of oil every 1000km. Since then i have consistently serviced the car at a registered Audi dealer in Burwood Melbourne. The dealer did consumption test 1 and 2 and advised that the motor is designed to consume oil and this is normal. I have questioned this again and again to be told that this is normal. Now the car has done 65,000 km and the oil consumption has increased to 1.5 lt of oil for every 500km. I did just keep topping it up until i had major issues with the engine misfire. At my last service in March i was told the the reason the car was misfirering was due the engine needed new spark plugs due to oil build up.
I did this at my cost of around $440.00 dollars just to travel 100km and the same happened again. I then took it to another Audi Dealer in Richmond Melbourne where the dealer told me that the issue was with one of the cylinders. They again changed the spark plugs and i drove out only to find the same issue after around 60km. As i see here on this page this problem is widespread in this model and is an engine defect which Audi has been justifying to be normal. I then took it to the Melbourne dealer. (dealer 3) The dealer at Melbourne Audi has agreed that there is an issue with the engine and has now booked the engine in to be replaced on August the 11th 2014. However the dealer has not accepted to pay for the changeover. I would expect for Audi to take responsibility of the engine defect and either have the vehicle replaced or the engine changed over . Selling a brand new vehicle and have a known engine defect contravenes consumer affairs legislation.
I have now seen this in a number of comments on this page and others. It is obvious to me that this is a major problem with these cars. I was about to trade up to the new model but unless Audi can guarantee these vehicles then i don’t see much point going through the process. I will have to purchase another and strongly recommend to others that they do not purchase this brand of vehicle. I have now been without my car for over 2 months due to this problem and have have to hire another vehicle to replace the fact that i cannot drive this car more than 30km with out the car dash lighting up like a christmas tree due to all the warning lights.
I would like you to contact me asap to assist with my issue.
I was stationed in Germany in the U.S. Military. I purchased a 2013 Audi Q5 through the Military Car Sales in Vilseck, Germany and I had it shipped straight to the United States from Germany. I did not have an opportunity to get a look at the car until it arrived here in the United States in Texas, because I left from Germany before the car was completed. I had the car built at the Audi factory in Germany from the ground up to my specifications, with one exception. I did not have a clear idea of what the configuration of the DVD monitors actually was like. I was not shown any examples of the DVD player configuration prior to requesting that DVD players be installed inside of my vehicle. When I took possession of the vehicle after it was shipped to the Audi Dealership here in Texas, I was shocked when I opened the back door and I saw the two DVD monitors protruding about 6 inches out from the back of the front seats directly towards the back seat passengers face. When I purchased the vehicle I assumed that the DVD monitors would come mounted in the back of the front seat head rest since I paid $50,000 dollars for the vehicle. I have expressed my concerns to the military car sales representatives in New York, and I have talked to many people at the Audi dealerships. They all tell me the same story, “That’s how they come from the factory”. And they do not offer me other options. It is not the cosmetics of the DVD monitors that I am concerned with. Those DVD monitors are a safety hazard in my opinion. I have a little baby that has to ride in the back of that vehicle. Not only my baby, but any other passenger who rides in the back of that vehicle would slam there faces directly into those DVD monitors in the event of a front end impact. I have a safety concern with these DVD monitors, and I need for it to be corrected immediately.
I purchased Audi A5 2.0T 2010 ever since the purchase the car consumes 1lt of oil every 1000km. the dealer did consumption test 1 and 2 and advised that the motor is designed to consume oil and this is normal. Now the car has done 36,000 km and the oil consumption has increased to 1lt of oil for every 700km. This problem is widespread in this model and is an engine defect which Audi has been justifying to be normal. I would expect for Audi to take responsibility of the engine defect and either have the vehicle replaced or take it back to do further test so future models are free of this defect. Selling a brand new vehicle and have a known engine defect contravenes consumer affairs legislation. Look forward to any advise from Audi Germany.
Dear Sir ,
I think i have the same problem with your car ,my car is asking me to add 1 liter of oil every 1000km , my car mileage is 28,000 Km , which is brand new , please advice if audi took action or I mean a positive action with your car . thank you
TO WHO SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN
This is to put to your kind notice that I had recently booked an A-6 through your employee Mr. Rohit Suri. I had given an amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in favour of REGENT GARAGE Pvt. Ltd (AUDI SOUTH DELHI- INDIA). Due to some major financial issues I had to get the booking canceled. And within 3 days prior to the booking I had informed Mr. Rohit Suri that I’ll not be able to purchase the car so you kindly return my booking amount. After this I’m hearing from your side that you’ll be deducting an amount of Rs. 50,000/- from the booking amount. I sincerely request you to not to make such deductions as U’r carrying such a big brand name and Rs. 50,000/- is not a small amount. May be for you it is but for me its something too big. I really want someone concerned to look deep into this matter and understand your customers crises. It would indeed be a great pleasure if I’ll be listened over this.
THANKING YOU
SINCERELY
I recently purchased an Audi A4 1.8 TFSI SE, which is fitted with a six speed manual gearbox.
After driving the vehicle for two days I detected a whining noise in the first 4 gears, which I immediately brought to the attention of the salesperson, who sold me the vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently driven by the Service Manager of the particular dealership, who confirmed the whining noise but opined that there was nothing wrong with the gearbox. I was invited to test drive a similar demo vehicle, which manifested the exact same whining noise. There is also significant feedback/vibration on the clutch pedals of both vehicles especially during peak hour driving, which makes for an unpleasant drive. In addition I discovered an audible noise from the engine compartment after the vehicle is switched off, which I suspected was the turbine wheel spooling down. I have now been advised that it is a manufacturing defect on a ball valve of the auxiliary cooling system, which will hopefully be replaced during the course of next week.
Whilst this is my first Audi, I have had many vehicles including at least 10 Volkswagens and have never encountered a similar problem. I would be pleased to know whether the whining noise on the transmission is normal on Audiโs and whether it will dissipate in time. The current odometer reading is 840km.
