I bought a cloth for my daughter at brampto location, trinity mall. When I buy, I have confirmed that I can return product until January. But I went today (December 12th) to return it as my daughter did not like it. The cashier was so rude and didn’t return. There was no damage and never worn-out that cloth. When I was asking her why, she said she even doesn’t bother to talk to me. That really pissed me off. That is her exact word and repeated so many times.
I have shopped at Ardene’s many times but have never returned anything. Recently I made a $65 purchase that I needed to return. I was n shock and extremely upset when I was told I could NOT get my money back and would be given a gift card instead. I will never shop there again and will spread the word about this ridiculous process! How awful that I am out this money at this time of year. Sad Christmas now.
I was the Ardene store at Sheridan mall(Jane & Wilson) location in Toronto this evening with a friend shopping. There was a sale of buy two pairs of shoes and get the second pair for 50% off. My friend was excited to get a pair of sparkly shoe for 49.99 and wanted me to get the black sparkly pair so that we will not missed out on the great sale.
When my friend brought me a pair in my size to try on. A male security appeared and was so close in my personal space that I had to ask him to move. I then proceeded to sit on a bench to try the shoe on and was in utter shock that this security just stand there in front of me staring me down.
A female employee was so embarrassed. I then proceeded to the cash register with my friend to pay for the shoes and realized that this guard was standing now at he back of me. The entire was full of customers shopping and he choose to do this to me. I asked to cashier is there a reason for this and she apologized and said that I can speak to her manager.
The assistant manager came over. I explained to her what just happened and I don’t agree that this is proper customer service. I was told that the security guard is not there for customer service and that if I feel upset she must then apologize if that is the way I feel.
My concern is that I was well dressed and have never stole anything in my life. I am an assistant manager with a prosperous retail company here in Canada and was appalled with the service your company is giving to my community. Your member of management in that sore is not qualify to serve our community with the response that she has given to me.
I was so upset that my friend and I refused to continue with our purchase.
